Will this work for My dog? Her chest measures 42 inches. I purchased the brace which fits my dog beautifully. But won't stay on. Help

I too bought just the brace& it kept sloppy off over her rump with any movement. My dog is a 90 pound German Shepherd. I then purchased this item & while it’s a pain to take on& off, it does work great.
