I love all things Ramona, and I’m glad to now have the entire set.

I loved all the Beverly Cleary books as a little girl, and they truly sparked my love of reading. I got the Ramona series for my 7 year old daughter, and they *still* engage and entertain all these years later. I wondered how the themes would hold up, and they did not disappoint. Give these treasures a place on your kids’ bookshelves.

Great read for 8 yr old

It doesn't get much better than a Beverly Cleary Ramona book. My kids love these books. They will listen for many chapters and still ask for more. This was a requested gift for Christmas this year. Last year we read the whole series aloud as a family and Ramona won my children's hearts. My children are between 4-15 yrs old, and while the 6-10 yr olds loved it the most, the whole family was able to enjoy the books. I am always amazed at how in tune Beverly Cleary was to how a child thinks and she brings a fresh perspective to childish behavior. Her books are always filled with laughter but also real life problems and issues that are a great springboard for family discussions. We love all of the Ramona books!

Ramona and He Mother made for a great read with our 8 year old daughter. We like how the Quimby family is a real America middle class family-- with all of the problems and blessings of being in America's middle class. They feel economic pinches. There are times when the father is out of work. The books makes for a great family read.

I am a permanent ESL student and these books are great to improve my English. Characters are awesome and have a good heart, funny episodes on the life of an incredible and charming little girl

I love Stockard Channing's voice work on the RAMONA books (a number are available). She is perfect in each role. I purchased this particular CD for nostalgic reasons; my daughter is now an adult but I remember bits of these stories and wanted to hear them performed again. It's a treat.
