These worked perfectly on my recliner chairs. Because I converted them from standing to reclining I had to do a little adaptation so they don’t. But I found an easy solution. I put the little feet back on as they were before, though they now stand a fraction off the ground. You don’t notice it until you hit the chair back because and it breaks the fall.

Bought 2 chairs from Big Shady ( Sandy ) and within a year they started breaking down. Noticed all that was wrong was the swivel assembly. Ordered these and they are an exact match, but they seem to work better than the original. Maybe just because it's new? But fast shipping, easy to install, and they worked great! Super happy!

I received two. On one, the tension nut looks just like the manufacturer photo and it works perfectly fine. On the other, the tension nut keeps coming loose after about a month of occasional use, and the ball bearings from the swivel fall out (and get grease all over our carpet!). The mechanism looks different than the manufacturer photo because I can see the exposed threads on the pivot bolt. There appears to be some kind of cap missing, or maybe it is an inferior previous design. I asked this in the form of a question in the q&A and I'm waiting for the manufacturer to respond. If yours looks like this first photo, I recommend not using it and returning it.

I was excited to find this product, however, I did not measure the plate that has to be attached to the chair. It is important that the plate be the right size to fit on your chair, otherwise you may have some difficulties attaching it correctly, unless you are handy and can improvise. If you order the right size for your chair, it is a winner.
