So far, so good. I put these on a new pair of cowboy boots to protect the leather soles. They will be one of a couple options for foul weather. I did not follow the directions exactly. I stuck the pad to the sole then cut around it. It was surprisingly easy given I was using a pocket knife rather than scissors. The boot soles were leather and very smooth, like slippery dress shoe soles. I stuck these directly to the some without roughing up the soles it anything like that. Just stuck directly to the new sole, no prep work at all. It's only been a week, but I am so far impressed with the performance. They are very grippy and the adhesive seems to be sticking really well. I honestly thought I might need contact cement, but it's good for now. I will update after more time passes. If there's no update, it's safe to assume everything is going well. And if you are considering these, go for it.

First my issue with the adhesive,on one sheet of the material the adhesive lifted with the protective cover,at least one other reviewer mentioned it. Now what I like, Excellent workability,Easy cutting,the fact that it is self adhesive, just the right thickness for forming to& levelling heels&soles,good tread design for traction.See the pic for prep tools used& Gorilla clear contact glue (for stronger bond & to fill gaps/voids) 5*'s for overall ease of use& thickness! 2* for adhesive issue,? Durability unknown at this time.So 3.5 to 4*'s in my opinion Amazon Delivered Deal!

I got this for my shoes that the sole was worn off. This saved me from having to throw perfectly good shoes away. I just cleaned the bottom of my shoe. Scored it on the bottom so that the adhesive would stick to it. Worked like a charm.

Good adhesive and good slip resistance, but the material is not the best choice for high friction wear. Edges wear out in a few weeks, then you have to decide what to do with the rest.

I got these for a pair of boots I wear everyday. The sole was worn down and started to clomp around pretty loudly when I walked. I thought these sticky soles would fix my problem. The sticky part did not adhere to the bottom of my shoes once I started walking. Maybe if I used some heavy duty glue or something it’d be fine. I had to cut these to fit my boots and then the edges were all sticky and picked up a bunch of little bits and hairs which was gross. I just ended up taking them to a cobbler.

Easy to cut, easy to apply. Put them on the bottom of some leather soled mens shoes to extend the life of them. I tend to wear out a hole right in the middle-front of the shoe. You don't even notice these when you are wearing the shoes. Feels the same. I've had it on for a few weeks and they have adhered very well but I still think I can peel them off if I wanted to with no trouble. Ordering some more for my other shoes. Great product at the right price.

I have a pair of boots, which hadn’t been worn for a while and consequently once I started wearing them the ‘leather’ sole began to split across ways. Naturally I was devastated, as the upper part of the leather boots were like new. I asked two shoe repairers’ who said they weren’t able to repair them because of the type of sole! Not being one to give in and I certainly wasn’t going to throw away a perfectly good pair of boots, I decided to have a go at repairing them myself. I’m so glad I did. These 4 piece sole saver and repair pads have certainly saved my boots and given them a new lease of life. I used a relevant waterproof adhesive to glue the spilt sole first and left them for the adhesive to ‘cure’ I then followed the easy to follow instructions, using the provided sandpaper to smooth the surface of the sole. I had expected to use extra adhesive around the edges, but so far, so good. I’ve worn them 6/7 times now and even been dancing in them! As you can see from my photo, they have lasted well and have a good non slip grip. I still have a pair of pads left, if I need to replace them. Good value, easy to apply, strong adhesive, non slip, I’m certainly ‘soled’ on these! 😊

Was somewhat skeptical about a stick on sole. I went ahead and purchased as so much cheaper than having them done at a shoe repair shop. I have done 2 pairs of my favourite trainers which were really worn and almost unusable. I’m really happy with the results. Easy to cut to shape and the adhesive stick on soles were very effective. I would recommend and would also purchase again.
