I bought 2 of these for each of my granddaughters ages 3 & 7. The 3 year old (girl) wasn’t interested probably because it wasn’t a doll BUT the 7 year old (girl) absolutely loved it & understood what it was for - comfort & support. It helps with her anxiety especially after a hard day at school & she loves to love on it & sleeps holding it which is so sweet.

This review is for the Lilly's Love Weighted Stuffed Animal 5 lb. I chose the dog. Positive things are: 1. The overall quality is wonderful. 2. The velcro on the back is very strong and lays nice when closed. It will not come open easily. 3. The weight is accurate as it was a little over 5 lbs. 4. The fur is very soft and he is very cuddly. 5. I was glad his ears were not stitched to his head. I couldn't find a picture showing that so I included one in my review. Negative things are: 1. I didn't not like the bandana around his neck so I removed it. In the back where it was knotted, it was stitched down with a few stitches and they were easily removed. The front of thr bandana is sewn in for about an inch at the middle of his neck. I cut it as close as I could. You can still see a little remnant if you look for it, but just barely. 2. There is an unstuffed area in his back behind the velcro that causes his back to feel indented. I added material to fill this in. 3. I wanted him to weigh 2 lbs more so I put some glass vase filler marbles in a sandwich baggie inside and then topped it off with a dish towel. Now his back no longer says in. 4. The velcro is strong and so it is tough. Although the area is covered in fur, it still has a ripple to it and a hard feel. But there is probably no getting around this. I gave this item 5 stars because the negative things were either my personal preference or things one could easily fix to their liking. I would definitely buy one again.

Nice quality. The weight is very evenly distributed making it easy to hug and snuggle with. He is a substantial little guy weighing more than I expected, perfect for an older child or adult. Cute to boot!

I highly recommend this Sloth Stuffed Animal. My 9 year old niece Loved it. The Sloth is Super Cute. It is a 5 pound weighted stuffed animal to reduce Anxiety and provide Comfort for your Child. Cost was pricey at $35 but definitely worth it.

I’m a tactile proprioceptive sensory seeker, which means my nervous system naturally looks for calming input through touch and pressure. This was soft and cute but had a very small warm pack that was tricky to remove and replace through its Velcro contained pocket. It was to be a gift and didn’t look like that part hold up well. So we returned it and ordered the higher priced Warmie brand sloth.

I’m a 33 year old woman with anxiety and insomnia. I’m not ashamed to admit that stuffed animals help when I’m trying to sleep or calm down. This weighted stuffie is probably the favorite one I have now. He is soft, cute, and the perfect size and weight for an adult. I think this is worth every penny. It’s sturdy and think it’ll last a long time. I like that the weighted insert can be removed in order to wash the shell. I would like to get more soon.

Just like the Bunny Weighted Plush, my child loves this Lilly’s Love Weighted Capybara. They won't go to sleep without it, and it’s been great for calming them down. They don't use it as a pillow, but they love cuddling with it for comfort. The 5lb weight is perfect for that calming sensory effect, and I love that it’s machine washable with a removable inner. Makes it so much easier to keep clean. It’s become a go-to for relaxation time and even just hanging out. Highly recommend for kids (or adults) looking for a comforting, weighted plush toy.

I’m an adult who recently discovered weighted stuffies for anxiety. This brand is more affordable than the better-known/more expensive alternatives, and Stevie the sloth looked super cute in the photos, so I decided to give it a try. He arrived the next day, and instantly felt really huggable and pleasant in my arms. The weight feels just right - not too heavy to lift, but substantial enough to be really comforting. And looks even cuter in person. Now I find myself carrying him around the house not wanting to put him down. I thought the bandana - which is sewn on to the back of his neck - was unnecessary so I removed it. It came off easily with two careful snips. The tag was also easy to (carefully) cut off. Haven’t washed him yet but the weighted insert seems easy to remove, as they show in the description - however the Velcro is really strong and requires a bit of force to get it open. I’ve had him for a week now and snuggle with him every day. My husband also uses him as a pillow on the couch (which is quite frankly adorable). I find this sweet little sloth a useful tool for anxiety, but beware, because hugging it does sometimes stir up some interesting “bittersweet” emotions. Anyway, I’d highly recommend this to anyone experiencing anxiety and seeking a calming presence in their lives.
