Laid paper is made in the original, has a rough surface, and is commonly used by artists. The degree of roughness can be varied according to the artist's requirements. Wove paper is paper made by modern techniques and is much smoother and therefore more suitable for writing.

Is this paper suitable for fountain pen.when it is written on one side with fountain pen or dip pen will it show on the other side.

All I can say, it is a quality paper, smooth to the touch, definitely superior to ink jet paper. I would say, yes it would be suitable. Good luck, makes a change to see people using fountain pen or dip pen.

I only print on one side but I see no reason why not.
