I bought this adapter to fit my 12 gauge trip wire - no issues with fitting or quality.The adapter is ideal to lower the expense of using 12 ga blanks for perimeter security.

The 22 caliber holes are too far off set, shouldnt have been offset at all. Worked with this for almost 2 hours and tried multiple times, would not work. Also the clearing hole is too small for the pin. Dont bother buying this. Also mentions a battery in the description.. There is no battery,

I bought 4 of these adapters, inserted #4 (yellow) blanks and tried several blanks in all 4 adapters and not one of them worked. I don't understand why the adapter hole for the 22 blank is offset, but it causes nothing but problems. In every test, the firing pin from the trip alarm hit on the outer edge of the rimfire on each blank tried. Additionally, when setting the adapters into the trip alarm, because of the offset rimfire hole, you have to set the adapter into the trip alarm very specifically. This wouldn't be a problem if the worked, but when the firing pin strikes the outer rim of the rimfire, it's useless. And, if you don't set the adapter into the trip alarm correctly, the firing pin won't come close to string the rimfire. Had the 22 adaptor hole been centered, the firing pin would strike into the center of the rimfire and it wouldn't matter which direction the adapter was installed into the trip alarm. Needless to say, these are being returned.
