This 5 gallon barrel is beautiful. Filled with water and was all sealed up within 30 minutes. Filled with moonshine a few days later and no leaks. I love that there is no spigot because to me thats just one more spot to leak. If flavor quality is as good as build quality I will be buying more of these!

The 2.5 Gallon Oak Barrel is great and an excellent value for the money. It’s important to follow the seasoning steps—filling it with hot water and letting the wood expand for a couple of days to seal — before using otherwise you will have leakage. I aged my brandy in it, and the results were fantastic. Very pleased with this purchase!

This is my first barrel and I love it. As a prime member I received it in 2 days. It was warped it plastic for protection and packed well in the box. Absolutely no defects at all. I boiled water and filled it . Has been several hours and I don’t see one spot of leakage.

Good barrels, only 1/7 were unacceptably leaky last run. Much better than the finished or glossed whiskey barrels.

This barrel never stopped leaking and became moldy. Now it is ruined

Great Barrel overall. This is my second 20L from this company. The first one cured decently but took a little bit of wax to completely seal. The second one required no wax. Very impressive for such large barrels. The head pieces are also a solid piece, not two pieces joined together (like previous barrels I've purchased) which is higher quality and makes for easier sealing. The ONLY reason I took 1 star away is that it does not come w/ a spigot or a stand like most other options out there. Aside from this, it's a great barrel. Will definitely plan to buy a third barrel from them when the time comes.
