Excellent quality adapter. Actually, like a fine watch in its construction and presentation/packaging. It came in a padded wooden box!! Although it did work (and fit perfectly) it wouldn't "read" the 2 Tamron lenses I tried on my Z8. Even after updating the adapter's firmware, it was searching and not accurate at all with the Tamron 150-500 (E mount). In video, it was getting confused more than not and just losing the focused subject and just going back and forth.m The aperture info as well as the focal length info was wrong or not present, but maybe that is an e-mount to z-mount thing. I didn't have any lens info so the editing program had no profile info... Again, technically, it did work as an adapter but wasn't really very "smart" with the 2 lenses I tried.

I have one of these and it focuses my Sony E lenses just fine . Some lenses focus faster than others. My Sony 20mm G focuses as fast as native Nikon Z glass . The Sony 35mm GM focuses very slowly but accurately at first but starts focusing faster as used . I use it with the Sony E mount Sigma lenses also. I have the Sigma Contemporary, I Series 65mm and 90mm they focus quickly and accurately. I also use it with Voigtlander manual focus lenses with the Sony E mount . I use the Green focus square on my Nikon Z9 and it works accurately and swiftly. I just purchased another to have one for autofocus Sony E to Nikon Z and one for my Voigtlander manual focus Sony E mount glass to. Ikon Z . It seems like a precision and quality product. I hope my second one works as well as the first one . I purchased a used one and saved quite a bit here on Amazon. There is the 30day return policy if it doesn’t work properly.

Purchased this so I could use Sony lenses on my Nikon camera but it didn’t work correctly it would only focus if you pressed the lens button to magnify the image, not good. It was very well constructed and was well Packaged , but unfortunately I had to send it back.

I so wanted to like this but cut my fingers failing to get the cap off. Terrible design that I cannot dare attach to a Z body
