So like a previous reviewer, I did not use this on my vehicle. I used it for sound deadening in the wall between the kids bathroom and my bedroom during the remodel. Let me tell you, I was surprised how well it worked. Virtually no noise between the bathroom and my bedroom now. Traditionally I always used the name brand for my vehicles. But I thought I would give this a try since I already spent so much on my remodel. Definitely a good choice. Does it work well in vehicles? No idea, but the performance in a hollow house wall has been amazing. Is it easy to work with? Absolutely. As long as the sticky back doesn't touch itself, your golden. Holds well, and still slightly workable if you need to adjust. Once you push on it, it stays. Would I recommend this product for sound deadening? Absolutely.

While there was no scientific testing to confirm the results, there was a noticable difference when driving on the freeway. While tapping on the fender liner it did not have the same rattle, it is more of a solid thud. The goal was to reduce the rolling tire noise and it worked for me This is a closed cell foam and not acustic foam/open cell. I will be adding it under the hood and in parts of the door panels, along with acustic foam in the panels and speakers Disclaimer: I added a layer of killmat 1st. 2nd layer was this foam. Suggestions: -Use scissors to cut. -Gloves may help stop the foam from coming apart or appearing snagged. -do not stretch the material -do not try to lift it once you pressed it in place

Product is great and the amount you get for the price is outstanding

Got on sale at prime days. Item difficult to work with. Will stick to each other and then unable to pull apart without ripping. No matter how long you lay out. Don’t waste your time and money

Questionable effectiveness for noise reduction, rips easily when installing.
