This zapper is great! Started popping them bugs the second it came on. You can definitely hear it, its so satisfying. We live out in the country and by a pond where flying insects are a nuisance. My last plug in zapper went out and im trying this product because its cordless. I dont have to deal with an extension cord and the product works all night! I cut out some pieces of the plastic guards so that more bugs or bigger bugs can enter the party zone. Im hoping there will be a future model that will be bigger, brighter, and better because i will definitely buy more. Im also hoping it will last a least a couple years. If your looking for a simple way to mount, consider a shepherds pole.

Perfect for placing around my garden and backyard; saving my plants and myself! The solar panels work exceptionally well and the zappers last throughout the entire night. Just to note, you have to be a little handy with tools and/or have to purchase separate supports for both the zapper and the panel. My only gripe is that there is no hook for the zapper and no bracket for the panel. I had to create make shift wood frames or exterior screw holds at each corner to fasten the solar panels to something. So far I have had them over 2 weeks. Nothing bad to note about the durability and brightness so far. I ordered 3. They have weathered multiple rain storms and are still working fine. They seem to be worth the money. They were absolutely covered in bugs within the first few hours.

As the title suggests, I've been using it for a couple of weeks without any issues. It's water-resistant and has long-lasting batteries. After a hot, sunny day, with a full charge, this zapper can run continuously for 8-9 hours overnight.

Dieses Jahr hat es bei uns durch das Hochwasser und langanhaltenden Niederschlag richtig viele Schnaken, Stechmücken und Bremsen. Ich war lange gegen diese Insektenvernichter, dieses Jahr war es aber vorbei damit. Ich habe explizit nach einem mit eingebautem Akku gesucht um diesen auch beim Campen ohne Steckdose nutzen zu können. Sogar eine Solarzelle ist hier mit dabei, quasi perfekt! Dieser hier erschien mir aufgrund des großen Akkus ganz gut und ich habe deswegen umgehend bestellt. Pünktlich zu unserer ersten Reise mit dem Dachzelt kam das Paket an und wir konnten es noch vor Abreise ausprobieren. Es funktioniert sehr einfach: Durch das Licht werden die Plagegeister angezogen, fliegen rein und werden durch eine hohe Spannung (hier laut Angabe 4500V) sofort vernichtet. So einfach wie genial. Wir haben das Licht mal eine Stunde bei uns im Wohnzimmer brennen lassen und in dieser kurzen Zeit befanden sich schon viele Insekten im Auffangbehälter des Geräts. Sehr effizient! Wir hatten den Insektenvernichter bei unserem einwöchigen Trip mit dem Dachzelt dabei und es hat uns sehr gute Dienste geleistet. Die Akkulaufzeit überzeugt und am nächsten Tag wird der Akku wieder mit der mitgelieferten Solarzelle aufgeladen. Man muss sich um nichts kümmern. Durch den Bügel kann er bequem auch überall hingehängt werden. Die beste Lösung um Insekten fernzuhalten bzw. direkt zu vernichten, wir sind damit echt zufrieden!

Reason for Purchase: I needed a plug-in version of this product because the solar-powered unit I previously used wouldn’t get enough sunlight near my front porch, which is roofed and enclosed, limiting direct solar exposure. Thoughts: 1. Performance: This unit is extremely effective at attracting and eliminating bugs; every couple of days I’m surprised by how many have accumulated—which makes cleaning a bit of a nuisance, but also clearly proves how well it works. 2. Build Quality: The unit is well-constructed and feels sturdy enough to handle daily use. The durable design reassures me it will last through the seasons. 3. Ease of Use: Plug-and-play convenience makes this a breeze to operate. The hanging ring lets you suspend it or set it down anywhere you like, depending on your setup. 4. Lighting Aesthetic: The ambience from the cool, slightly purple-blue glow actually adds a unique visual touch to the area, especially in the evenings. 5. Noise Level: It runs very quietly, with only the occasional zap reminding you that it’s hard at work—which I find oddly satisfying. 6. Safety: As someone with both an infant and a dog at home, I appreciate the protective spacing of the outer mesh. It gives me confidence that it’s safe to use without risk of accidental contact. 7. Water Resistance: Although this is technically placed in a semi-outdoor area, the waterproof rating offers great peace of mind—especially in case of heavy storms with wind blowing rain into the porch area. 8. Cleaning & Maintenance: The bottom tray is easy to remove and rinse clean, but because this zapper is so efficient, it fills quickly. A larger collection area or easier access would help minimize how often I need to clean it. 9. Cord Length & Power: Since this location doesn’t get good solar exposure, I chose the plug-in version. It works just as well as my solar model from 2023. However, the power cord could be longer—I had to use a three-foot extension. In the future, it would be great to see a retractable or adjustable-length wire built into the base. Only Downside: Not a fault of the product but this has attracted a lot of bugs near our main entrance. I wonder if this is because of the light itself or because there are so many dead bugs for other insects/bugs that survive to eat. A bit annoying but will just consider better placement that is a bit further from our main door.

Mücken und andere Insekten werden schnell und zuverlässig erledigt. Die Verarbeitung ist überraschend gut. Das Gerät ist mir schon ein paar Mal heruntergefallen, hat das aber problemlos weggesteckt und funktioniert weiterhin einwandfrei. Alles wirkt stabil und solide gebaut. Wer eine wirkungsvolle und langlebige Mückenlampe sucht, macht hier nichts falsch.
