I just used this product on 2 of my dogs: 1 English Bulldog & 1 Pit Bull. I charged the clippers when they arrived (about a week ago) and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked! Cut my trimming time in half, compared to my previous clippers. Easy to use and handle due to its slim design. The clippers aren’t loud and didn’t bother the doggies at all! It didn’t slow down either so I’ll say the battery life is great! Absolutely durable for my dogs paws (English Bulldog has big feet lol). I didn’t expect much but wanted to try this clipper and it’s worth every penny! I cleaned the blade with the handy brush and oil, which was very convenient. I would highly recommend these clippers!

I have never used any other small paw trimmer, so I have nothing to compare it to besides a full size trimmer, and this was so perfect for my purposes. All the stars! I have two Samoyeds and they went to day camp where unfortunately there was an outdoor sand pit and the webbing between their toes got scraped up, inflamed, and between the two of them they developed 6 cysts. In order to administer their spray-on antibiotic and keep the area clean, I had to trim the hair between their toes as close to the skin as possible. This was impossible with my full-size trimmer; it struggled to cut the fine, dense hair and it was too loud and moved too much for my dogs to let me use it well. So I bought this one after seeing a couple versions of it (I saw an even smaller one used very effectively on bunny feet) and decided that since this is under 1" it would do the job well without being incredibly slow. Speed was necessary when you consider even my well-trained dogs fight back after a while due to the discomfort of their injuries. This trimmer was surprisingly effective. It does have a plastic backing, which I was not upset by, I've used several plastic-backed trimmers and I find them more gentle and effective than metal backed trimmers. It took several passes and breaks, but I was able to shave all the hair between my dogs' toes and they are well on their way to healing.

What I like: -sound level is mellow, nothing crazy and didn't scare my cats. I -the power ramps up instead of it being an instantaneous 'On'. This 'soft start' helps the cats to not be startled by it. -2 speeds -long lasting battery What I don't like: -plastic top blade (lifespan and durability concern) but I get that not having dual metal blades brings the noise level down -takes a little extra time to get the hair cut but at the trade-off of it being quiet and non-startling, it's workout good so far. I've got 8 cats. 5 indoor and 3 indoor/outdoor. I was able to give my two oldest (17y/o and 15y/o) their first full paw trim in their life. I've used scissors before to carefully cut the long ones but really getting them trimmed down, I've never done. Took about 20 mins for each cat as you have to go slow to get through thick paw hair but once done, I could tell felt different. I guess feeling the concrete floor without a layer of fur makes for cold toe beans. The biggest positive to doing their paws was the huge cut-down on tracked litter. That, alone, is worth 10x the price!

I really like this because it is relatively quiet. I use it around the face and paws if something gets stuck. Safer than using scissors.

My kitty is a little chunky. I bought this to keep her butt clean. This worked twice. But now it wont even hold a charge. Dont waste your money.

They work fine on light to normal hairy paws but not with heavy furry paws. Using them on my Yorkie was easy; however with the King Charles Cavalier it was a different story. You have to make multiple passes to cut the fur away. If you spend too much time trimming the metal plate behind the plastic teeth gets too hot. I noticed the dog was starting to fidget and pull her paw away when trying to trim between the pads and that is when I discovered how hot the metal had become. I had to stop after trimming two paws even though they weren’t completely trimmed. Next time I would use my normal dog grooming clippers to trim the fur on the pad and only use this unit to trim between the pads. On the good side the clipper is pretty quiet and the dog didn’t mind the noise. The size of clipper is easy to hold and maneuver between the dog’s pad. The charge lasts for a complete trim baring having to stop because of the metal heating up.

They work great. I have a Maltese and her hair is hard to cut. This is the second pair I have bought. They cut smooth and will not dig in
