This vest is very comfortable. I have the 20lb vest and love it. The vest allows for very good ventilation and ease of movement. Vest is a weighted with a sandish material giving it the ability to comform to the body. Because it conforms and hugs the body the vest doesn't shift, twist or flops while moving either jumping, climbing, running or climbing.

So much more stable and comfortable than sandbags in a backpack which we were doing. Now if I turn around quickly I don't have to worry about the weight shifting. Very comfortable around the shoulders. This does NOT restrict deep breathing while exercising. Carrying all the weight around the upper part of your body means the resistance starts at your shoulders and goes all the way to your feet so your whole body is working harder. Great as a way to do my rucking!! This vest says "Men's" but I am 5 ft 2.5" and thin and it works perfectly for me.

Really nice vest! It had a bad plastic smell initially, but then it vented and now it doesn't smell. Sits well on the shoulders (works for me - 5'7", and for my husband 6'6", but I'm the one using it). I wear it when I walk.

Very good product. Love how it fits, it’s heavier than I thought it would be but it’s comfortable. I bought this to wear while jogging, but the straps are elastic and even with the clips pulled completely tight, it shifts a lot when jogging. However, it’s AWESOME for walking and hiking. Sits heavy on the ribs (comfortably) making the challenge of extra weight for posture and for inspiration muscles. Great training so that when you’re not using it, you feel lighter and breathe stronger. However, I wish the straps were not all elastic to be able to make tight to run. I would buy again, but thought others would want to know

Great fit when I tighten it all the way (I'm 5' 5", 140 lbs.). Seems well made so far. 0 smell out of the box like others have complained about. I'm wondering how I'm going to clean it, but I'm thinking hand wash in sink or tub & hang dry - it's going to need cleaning fairly often with all of the sweating you'll do.

I use this to increase the strength of my torso and trunk muscles across the abdomen and lower back. The elastic portions feel like they won't last terribly long so I will have to adjust that aspect in about a year or so, probably will have a little less floof to compensate for. It can be a little harsh on bare skin or any sort of above shoulder level exercise as the edging digs in deep and gravity pulls tight with the weight. Neoprene is a great touch however the sands can fall into odd or uncomfortable positions. Running is a bit uncomfortable with chest pressure and close contact against the weak lower ribs and mid back. Some soreness after just an hour of wear doing basic every day tasks

Ordered my 20 lb. vest yesterday and received this morning. Went for my routine daily 2-mile walk with my 2 dogs. Terrain is asphalt but very hilly with steep inclines/declines.I have to say this was a fantastic workout. I was breathing heavier than I would going uphill and was noticeably utilizing my core muscles to keep myself well stabilized. The weight is perfectly distributed so there was no associated awkwardness. I had spinal fusion surgery on my lower lumbar region less than 2 years ago and there was no extra strain to my lower back which is something I had concerns about.All in all, my only regret is that I didn't get this vest years ago. Looking forward to using it every day for the amazing health benefits that it provides.For the record, I have not experienced any strange odor that a few posters have mentioned. Completely clean and odorless.

I use weight vests when I'm doing my rounds/hay moves at work (overnights). I just upgraded from a 12lb vest to this 25lb vest. So far so good. I'll definitely be on this weight for a while. I would recommend shoulder pads or some layers underneath if you're gonna try to run with it on to help hold it in place. Power walking and light jogging aren't too bad with the bounce.
