ValetPRO Citrus Pre-Wash Cleaner with Citrus Oils - Breaks Down Dirt and Road Grime - 1 L

I used this citrus pre-wash as I couldn’t get my usual product quickly. I’m glad is don’t. The car was caked in bugs after a crabbing trip drive, sap and bird doo doo after sitting under a tree for for four days solid. More heavily diluted and after a spray treatment and rinse all was gone. Not a bug left and rough surface sap gone. Definitely using this in the future. Caravan clean next.

I have 2/3 cars to clean monthly and this has been a really good pre-wash product. Dilutes at 8:1 water:cleaner and I still have plenty left. Good on alloys that aren't too caked in brake dust and pretty good at starting to shift grime on bodywork if left to dwell for 5 minutes or so. Dead flys however still need some elbow grease. Will buy again.

Used this a couple of times previously and never had any issues with. Absolute godsend during the winter months. Excellent quality, great value for money and really easy to use. 1:8 in a pump sprayer works well. Spray on, let dwell for a bit, cover with a layer of snow foam, then rinse off and the majority of the road grime is gone.

Keeping the car clean at this time of year is hell. Even a pressure washer doesn't shift all of it, especially on the wheels so I thought I'd give this a try after seeing a local hand car wash use a pre wash solition. I diluted it as instructed in a pump spray bottle -100ml of this to about 800ml water. That was enough to do an average sized car. I left that to sit while I got the pressure washer set up (about five or six minutes), then sprayed on my regular snowfoam. At this point, not much seemed to be happening so I gave the whole car body a rub down with a car wash mitt but it turned out this was not necessary. The dirt on the wheels (which I had not physically touched) just rinsed off. All of it! The dirt on the car body didn't put up a fight either. I only bought a 1 litre bottle to try out as I didn't want to be lumbered with a gallon of the stuff if it didn't work, but I'll def be buying a bigger bottle in the future. For me, the one litre bottle should do for about ten car washes. More if I just use it on the wheels throughout the summer as it just eats through all the brake dust and grime without having to faff about with a wheel brush. Good stuff!

Average cleaner. While it helps clean the car, it does not remove all tar and bug stains as claimed.

Great product

Bit of an obsessive car cleaner/detailer here, so I've tested a ton of products from a lot of brands. ValetPRO isn't exactly one of my go-to brands however they do have some products that are brilliant for their price. The citrus pre-wash is great quality for the price and very easy to use. Noticeable removal of dirt on initial application at start of exterior detailing process, just not as powerful as other brand/product options out there (ie. Nielsen Prewash), but really can't complain for the price. Definitely worth a buy and try, and adding to collection!

Works well with snow foam, a bit goes a long way.
