This has been so much fun to use, it’s been a hit for my 9 y/o son. It clips onto any table no matter how thick/thin the surface is. I like that there is a net bag on the side of the clip that holds up to 3 pingpong balls, that way we don’t lose any and can easily keep track. Highly recommend this set as a gift for any ages!!

The net set up is nice. Paddles are plastic and don't feel as nice as even an inexpensive wood paddle feels.

We used it in our regular glass dinning table as an activity in a party it was a success. It collapses in a convenient way to be carried around. Good quality for the price.

The posts that this net rolls up into are attached to the edges of the game table. Actually, they are 2-1/2” onto the table surface of our ping-pong table and extend into the area of play, where a ball can easily hit them during play. The tension of the net causes the posts to lean into the play area a bit. One of the pictures I’ve attached shows our current net in front of this portable net. You can see how our net extends beyond the edge of the table so it doesn’t interfere in the play area. The paddles are about an eighth of an inch narrower than our existing paddles. We don’t know if our paddles are too large or these are too small. We don’t think this would cause any problem during play. The good news is that this net will attach to any table up to two inches thick. Overall, the idea of a portable table tennis set is a good one. If you are setting it up on a picnic table and having a fun day playing table tennis, this is a good set. You probably wouldn’t be using this for serious competitive games. My husband and I give this set a 4-Star rating as we believe it suits the intention of a portable set. But it could have been designed better so it doesn’t interfere with the play area.

This is a great way to enjoy ping pong if you don't have space for a table. My DR table is smaller than a traditional ping pong table but it still works great. I have had hours of fun with my adult kids. I gave this 4 stars because the paddles feel a bit cheap.
