I love it! Use it for both carpet & hardwood as well as bathroom tile & kitchen laminate. (everything) Has turbo mode for extra suction if needed (but drains battery quick so only use it if necessary) I also use it on the stairs by disconnecting the long handle and attaching the upper part to the lower part. I vacuum more often since I got this (its fun!) Also love the light to see dust. Been using it for 6 months; no issues yet!

We did a decent amount of research on purchasing a small stick vac for quick cleanups around the house. Based on recommendations from third-party review websites and other publications, we decided to order this DREME R20 vacuum. Everything worked wonderfully the first time we used it but the second time I used it just a day or 2 later it did not work properly. Unfortunately, we could find a link to contact someone for warranty information in the manual and they’re were no links on the amazon listing. I will return to update this review if I hear back from the manufacturer or a complete an exchange. ***UPDATE*** April 12, 29299 My first review was frustrating but honest review. The next morning I received a phone call from DREAME Customer Service after reading my Amazon review. They offered what I felt was a genuine apology for our frustration. They spent a few minutes trouble shooting the Vacuum and determined it could not be fixed. They offered to replace it with the model above it in the lineup, a Z20. The replacement was here within 3 days and they paid shipping both ways. The primary difference with the upgraded model is the sucking power. We have done lots of testing and so far the replacement has worked perfectly. It has all of the same accessories. Despite the problems with the first vacuum the excellent customer service more than made up for the hassle Customer Service followed up with a call a couple of days after we received the replacement to confirm it was working well. I feel stupid , I was upset I could not find a customer service phone number but when I went to repack the broken unit, there was the owners manual with the Custom Service service phone number right on the front of the manual. Customer Service called again a week later to check with us that we were we were happy with the replacement, which we are.. We were unlucky to get one that didn’t work but the superior customer service more than made up for it. We love the vacuum, it is light, powerful and with all of the attachments there isn’t anywhere in the house it wont go. From 1 Star to 5 Stars because of uncommonly pleasant, professional and genuine Customer Service.

I was genuinely excited to try the Dreame R20 because it is a very good-looking, premium device. The design, build quality, and feel are excellent — it looks like a high-end vacuum. Unfortunately, the performance was a huge disappointment. The unit arrived with 35% battery, and within 5 minutes of light use in Eco/Normal mode, the battery dropped to 21%. It was draining every few seconds, making it impossible to use the vacuum properly. I checked for jams, tried different modes, and even tested it without the brush head — the battery still drained abnormally fast. This clearly points to a faulty battery or defective unit straight out of the box. It’s a shame because the R20 looks great, but the one I received was completely unusable, and I had to return it immediately.

So far so good! I upgraded from a basic Shark vacuum that just wasn't cleaning well (it kept leaking particles down after I turned it off too). I've also used a friend's Dyson before and quite liked the laser that helps spot dust on the ground. This Dreame sits firmly between the Shark and Dyson in terms of price point and build quality! I'd say closer to the Dyson of course. I think it's actually a better value to get this unless Dyson drops their prices in a sale or you're getting a refurbished vacuum. The laser isn't as strong as the Dyson's, but it certainly still does the job especially when you turn off the room lights just to let the light shine brighter. Honestly, seeing the laser point out all the spots I missed is so satisfying. It make me want to clean more! Battery life is decent I'd say. Nothing much to write home about. Great for spot cleans, but it does drain pretty fast if you use the highest setting (like a % every 3-5 seconds iirc). There's a screen showing the battery level, which is a big plus. The vacuum is sturdy and easy to carry, though it does not stand. I live in a rental unit so I cannot screw it against the wall. I recommend getting a generic vacuum stand on Amazon too just to have the vacuum and its other attachments sit nicely in one spot.

I tried vacuuming my desktop with it and I can't imagine how much dust my desktop has. Because I often do house cleaning, I always thought I was doing pretty well, until I used Dreame's Blue LED vacuum cleaner and I noticed that no matter whether you clean every day or not, there will be a lot of dust in the house that is difficult to detect with the naked eye! This vacuum cleaner is not only useful for blue light, but its suction is very strong. I think it can also be used to clean carpets in an ideal state. It is difficult for ordinary vacuum cleaners to achieve such a strong suction. But with this one from Dreame, I'm not at all concerned that it won't clean my house or floors. It comes with a complete set of brushes, not only can I clean hard floors, I can also use it to clean my carpets, sofas, and even bedding. The whole design is very chic, the pole is made of carbon fiber, which looks very premium, and I believe this material also makes it more durable and lighter. Secondly, this is a very friendly product for pet families. Whether you have a cat or a dog at home, it can clean up perfectly. It does an excellent job of cleaning up the hair that is stuck to the sofa. If the cat or dog is not afraid of its sound, I think it can even be used to clean up the cat or dog's floating hair. For its noise, my family used Dyson V8 before. Compared with the two products, the noise is about the same.

Didn't know how to store the other parts. Made a peg board storage rack. Battery life is not great but this is intended for spot clean ups.

Very impressed! I bought the R20 190W on the recommendation of ChatGPT (I asked what the best all around cordless vacuum is) with the intention of using it for small clean ups. Picks up piles of cat hair and litter box tracking my cordless vacuum misses. When on full power the battery does drain quickly, but the regular suction setting is adequate for 95% of normal vacuum chores. The blue light really illuminates dust and pet hair. I was totally shocked (and disgusted) at how filthy my floors were. They looked clean to the naked eye, but once the blue light hit em, I was ready to wretch. Seems to charge just about as fast as any other batter powered tool. No complaints. The only CON is the cannister is small and fills up fast, but on the other hand, it fills up fast because the vacuum is doing a good job. There may be better cordless vacuums out there in some respects, but for $235 delivered, I'm very happy with this one.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new Dreame R20 Cordless Stick Vacuum! I've owned several cordless vacuums in the past, but none compare to the power, versatility, and sheer ease of use of this machine. It truly deserves every one of its five stars. First off, the suction power is incredible. It picks up everything from fine dust to larger debris on both my hard floors and carpets with remarkable efficiency. My floors have never felt so clean. What really sets the R20 apart for me are the thoughtful features. The LED lights on the main brush head are genius! They illuminate dust and hidden dirt that I never even knew was there, making sure I don't miss a single crumb. The included attachments are also fantastic and incredibly useful for reaching tight spaces, upholstery, and even my car. Switching them out is quick and easy. I also love the battery life. I can clean my entire 3-bedroom house on a single charge without any issues, which is a huge improvement over my previous cordless vacuums. It's also surprisingly lightweight and maneuvers effortlessly around furniture. Emptying the dustbin is a breeze, and the filtration system seems to do an excellent job of keeping the air clean. The overall design feels premium and robust. If you're in the market for a new cordless vacuum, do yourself a favor and get the Dreame R20. It's an investment that will pay off in sparkling clean floors and a much more enjoyable cleaning experience. Highly, highly recommend!

This vaccuum works great, except that the button that releases the connectors is faulty. It has to be pressed with a tool or repeatedly in different ways while wiggling it to get it to release. It would be great if they could send a non-defective replacement? I would rate 5 stars then. No more Dysons for me!

This is a great vacuum. Had a tineco before and this has way more power, the 90° elbow is a bit wobbly but comes in handy when you need it and easy to store when you dont..the hard floor attachment works great for larger objects and the carpet attached has a slot you can open for big objects.. this vacuum has so much power is occasionally sucks to the carpet, i find if you open the slot at the front it relieves some of the suction and is easier to move. I did cut the brush part off the edge cleaner attachment because i found it annoying more then anything..overall i really like this vacuum and your getting high power for this price!
