2 power settings, easy to assemble no tools required. Very powerful and pulls out ground in debris. Great on hardwood floors as well as carpet. it does have a floor sweep made of rubber on the bottom of the power head for hardwood floors. That definitely needs a upgrade because it does crack the rubber fairly easy. it is very similar to a windshield wiper 🤔💡

Save the box and packaging until after you give it a go. Suction is great. Cord is long. Handle pops out of place and continuously pulls out, so no more vacuuming until you pop the joint back in and pop it into place. This is what you have to do the entire time you vacuum and my apt is 667 square feet. If it's annoying for me it will be for you too. It has to be a design flaw or maybe a manufacturing flaw. Or maybe just luck of the draw. Anyway, my handle doesn't fit in its connecting joint, so it's going back.

DANGER!! Do not buy this vacuum I know that it's cheap but cheap is the word here it is built so cheap and after running it a while it gets too hot it shuts off which is after only 5 minutes which leads me to believe it could start a fire!! very scary

I am very happy with this vacuum very light weight ..no inconveniences with germ filled canisters. The bag is the way to go. All bags last a long time. The vacuum has a light on it and onboard tools. The price is fantastic and gets the job done. So if you are looking for a simple vacuum at a low price and lightweight buy this one you will be glad you did

My inherited 30+ y.o. Oreck stopped sucking, so I replaced it with this Vacmaster. This "Oreck knockoff" is a pretty strong sucker. Assembly is easy. I tested it on my carpeted steps. The Oreck could never get into the 90 degree corner of the steps head on, but this Vacmaster can. Good headlight. Not a great transitioner from throw carpets to bare floor. The throws want to come with the machine so you have to turn it off to leave the throws in place. My next test will be the kitchen floor. The Oreck could never fit under the base of the cabinets which always irritated me. I gave it 4 stars because of the sucking capability, however the cord, and the way the cord attaches to the unit is sub par. The cord is not unpluggable from the unit as the Oreck's cord is. For the price point it's the purchase. Sound is not too loud. I say buy it! UPDATE: This vacuum leaves stripes of dirt (see photo) after you pull it toward you and then push it away from you. I call it "the backwash". I've never had a vacuum do this before. I use both the roller brush action, and just suction mode on my area rugs and this is what happens. This is irritating.

Basically this is an Oreck clone, at a much better price. Unlike most Oreck clones, it's a copy of modern high power Orecks, not the old fashioned Classic Orecks that just pickup surface dirt. Our house has a good variety of flooring, flat commercial carpet in the hall, low pile in one bedroom, soft plush in another bedroom, medium pile in the last bedroom, medium-high in the living room, and loose laid sheet vinyl in the kitchen. The living room and soft plush in one bedroom can be problem carpets for some vacuums, stalling brushrolls and/or making a vacuum nearly impossible to push. The Vacmaster did well in every room, I used high speed on every carpet and it never stalled, wasn't difficult to push, and the reverse chevron brushroll did a surprisingly good job digging out pet hair and dirt, and fluffing/grooming the carpets. The edge cleaning was adequate, but not amazing, I've seen better and I've seen worse. Low speed did well on the sheet vinyl. The squeegee kept anything from kicking back at my feet, and the pickup was good without the suction being high enough to "grab" the vinyl, which has been a problem in the past. It's no Kirby, but it's no old fashioned Classic Oreck either. Classic Orecks absolutely lock to our problem carpets, the Vacmaster practically glided over them. The grooming and pickup is impressive, especially for something so cheap and so lightweight. It's not all roses, the plastics used are obviously on the cheaper side, the cord is cheap and stiff, and the headlight could be brighter, but for the price, those things aren't really surprising. End of the day, it's a lightweight, well performing, basic bagged upright, with no hose or attachments, at a bargain price. That's a rarity these days. Add a Dustbuster or cheap canister vacuum for furniture and above floor cleaning, and you are set for years of easy quick easy cleaning.

Giving this product a 3 stars for now. I purchased and received this vacuum less than two weeks ago. I was super excited to use it due to the reviews. It is ABSOLUTELY amazing. The suction is absolutely amazing. It does NOT stick to the carpet like other reviews state. BUT, it consistently sucks dirt and dust up out of my carpet every single day which is exactly what I was looking for. It was super simple to assemble and it's size is perfect. The HUGE downfall and reason for the poor 3 star rating is that, this morning as I am mid vacuum it just shut off. COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AND WILL NOT TURN BACK ON! The belt and everything else is ok and intact. Considering I have only used this vacuum four times, today being the fifth, and NOTHING that could damage or harm the vacuum has ever been picked up(no large or sharp object, no water, and never run over damp spaces), theres no reason the motor should be the cause. EXTREMELY UPSET is a total understatement, right now. I am now out a vacuum, and do not have the means or ability to just go buy another.

This vacuum is quite the workhorse for its compact size and weight. Surprised at how well it performs on both floors and rugs. Powerful enough to handle different types of carpeting (short, medium, and wool). Easy to adjust the suction level when using over thick or shag-like rugs. Cleverly designed multi attachments are easily stored and accessible, as is the electrical cord. The dust bag indicator is ideal, so no guessing when bag needs to be replaced. This vacuum has exceeded expectations. If you prefer an upright bagged vacuum, this is a winner.
