I was looking for a plain and simple industrial style table lamp with multi functions. I didn’t think amazon would have countless options. But I’m so happy I stumbled upon this one! The over style is lovely and I love that the glass is clear. It’s super easy to take off and clean when needed but also super sturdy once reassembled on. The base has two USB ports which makes extra charging easy and sleek without a bulky extension cord. The dimming is an awesome feature as well. I tend to like mood lighting at night in the bedroom to relax and this lamp fully dims and becomes fully bright as well. It also came with the cute old fashioned led bulb! It’s overall the perfect lamp I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier with it. I will definitely purchase again!

I bought this for my reading chair. It's a pretty solid little lamp - charging ports work, although honestly, I don't use them often. It does dim. It even came with an Edison-style bulb which works well with the aesthetic. (Now that I think about it - pretty much everything in this picture was found or can be found on Amazon. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but will unpack that another time.) Build and 'bronze' finish seem solid--it looks far more expensive than it actually was. I don't know if it was the best choice for a reading light--even 'dimmed' it casts bright light, but that's hardly the problem of the innocent lamp and that's ok with me, though it's probably not an ideal bedside reading light situation. But, you do you. Well packed and arrived quickly.

Right off I have to say this is a pretty darn nice lamp. It isn't overwhelmingly large, the materials seem to be of good quality and it doesn't have a "cheap" feel to it. The glass dome is solid and thick. The metal doesn't have any visible defects in form or finish. The two USB ports are a nice plus as well and the dimmable rotating switch is nice and smooth. One thing to bear in mind however is that when you use the included lightbulb, the light goes everywhere - the dome is obviously not a shade. So if you're using this on an end table or the like, it throws light across the area. I put this on a desk and found the light coming from the side to reflect on my computer screen and shine in my eyes. Dimming would help but then it was hard to see what I was working on. So my remedy was to replace the included "edison" style bulb with a dimmable can light bulb. This did detract a bit from the lamp's retro appearance but it does a great job directing the light down while still allowing dimmability. Certainly not a dealbreaker and if my desk was bigger I would not hesitate to get a second lamp to complement the first. I will likely get the matching floor lamp though to round everything out.

I adore this lamp. I first purchased a touch lamp from another company and it would randomly turn on or off. I wanted the same look but I wanted to be able to control off and on. I bought this lamp due to that capability and the fact that it has two charging ports. I didn't realize when buying this how much I would enjoy the dimmability of the lamp.. This lamp sits on my bed side table and is perfect for a small amount of light as you are waking up or starting to go to sleep, or even more light if you are up reading in bed like I am. The convinence of the two USB charging ports are awesome. I charge my watch and my phone at the same time. All in all it was a great purchase and super easy to put together. If you are into this industrial style I would suggest this lamp. It sure fits with my decor and didn't break the bank.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a well made quality lamp that looks awesome and expensive.

The light bulb at the highest setting is blindingly bright. And even the dimmest setting is still too bright to look at. But what’s really odd is that for as bright as the bulb is, it only lights up small area. It doesn’t cast light very far. I really liked the style and the glass globe. The lamp itself is heavy and looks great when turned off.
