It took me ages to decide on which make /size of new fridge freezer to replace my old 12 year old zanussi which had started leaking. I originally had a small limited budget of £250 which after a lot of research and reading reviews gets a basic fridge freezer a percentage not Frost free and obvious limitations and operating problems. After reading tons of positive reviews and customer comments of samsung fridge freezers I decided to up my budget. I looked at all the Samsung models up to £400 I originally wanted the rb 31 model with drinks despenser but it was out of stock almost everywhere. So decided on this model without a despenser because I usually have loads of bottled water stocked up in my fridge. I have to say a big thanks to amazon and its partners Hughes direct, although I had to wait a bit longer for delivery (8 days) the service was 1st class although I wish that hughes contacted me directly about the day of dispatch and delivery details. The fridge was delivered by two friendly polite gents from hughes in the back of a large lorry. The box that it arrived in was massive but more importantly had no signs of damage or dents. Unboxed and placed into kitchen its larger than my old one the depth is more noticeable. Samsung say leave the appliance upright and unplugged for 2 hours before connecting to electrical supply. Once plugged in and running I was a bit worried as the fridge emitted a high pitched noise but was a lot quite than my old zanussi which would clunk, guggle and hum. I left the fridge plugged in for a hour in which the high pitched whine disappeared and the fridge was totally silent, I had to check it was still working and plugged in, after opening the door to see if the light came on! All I can think of is that the whine when first powered is part of the fridges operation and intial digital circuitry doing its thing to reach desired temp. I have had the fridge freezer for a few days and it's a fantastic appliance now very quite. Its is a thing of beauty with the led lighting, cool steel finish. Internally it's very logical and provides a massive amount of food storage. The freezer section is a joy to use as the drawers slid easily in and out effortlessly even when full. The other great feature of the freezer drawers is you put a 12 inch pizza including box flat in draw. Overall a class product, great design and flawless operation. Samsung quality worth every penny.

I spent a longggg time researching on the internet for white goods. Moving into a new home I needed everything but didn’t have a huge budget. I wanted good quality without breaking the bank. Who would have thought that AMAZON actually had the best deals out of big well known stores and also small independents. This item I brought for £299 and it was an utter bargain. It looks stunning and although it’s not particularly tall, it holds a lot of food. I particularly like the spacing of the shelves. I’ve had fridgefreezers in the past that have shelves which you can hardly stack things in and have to actually remove a shelf to get things to fit. Not this little beauty!! It’s also really quiet unless you leave a door open and then it reminds you to shut the door! Freezer drawers, although there’s only three they are huge!! One for meat, one for veg and one for deserts! Love, love, love this product! Highly recommend!!

So pleased I bought this fridge freezer. Samsung have a good track record for reliability and making nice looking products. The space grey matches my new washing machine.. 😎 This fridge has plenty of room for A small to medium size family. The salad drawer keeps everything fresh for 2/3 times longer than my previous one. There is a very handy full slide shelf / drawer . 1 in the fridge & 1 in the freezer. One of my main reasons for buying this model was the frost free feature. No more messy defrosting procedures. And no more icebergs building up slowly over time in the corners of the drawers. It’s very easy to clean & runs quietly.Not silent but certainly doesn’t disturb you either. Plus it has that peace of mind 10 year inverter guarantee. I would be happy to recommend this to friends/ family or anyone looking for a good quality nice looking fridge freezer. What a surprise for a fridge/freezer, it sits in the corner and just does it's supposed to do! You may like the internal layout, it fits everything in I want and most things are adjustable to fit stuff in, you may not. I specifically didn't want the water cooler dispenser as I don't want water from a fridge and it does limit the available door configuration options. It was so good I got another one, without the water cooler dispenser.

I've been using the fridge freezer for a few weeks now. I selected the delivery option that included unpacking the fridge in a room of my choice and removing the old fridge freezer. I live one floor above the ground floor, and I checked in advance with Amazon via chat that I would be able to use that service. I was assured that that would be fine. I also chose to have the fridge delivered in a particular time slot, and that went well on the day. The fridge was delivered by 2 very friendly and helpful people, who gave me a call shortly before arriving to let me know they would be there in around 5 mins time. They did a good job moving it, unpacking it and removing the old appliance. It's definitely worth considering that service if, like me, you worry that you would struggle to physically shift the new fridge up a flight of stairs, and if you're concerned about having your old fridge removed and recycled. The fridge freezer itself works well. I let it stand for around 4 hours after delivery to make sure the gasses inside it settled down before I plugged it in. It does emit a high pitched whine quite a lot of the time, but that's not excessively loud (my old fridge freezer was a lot noisier), and I haven't noticed it getting hot along the sides near the door as some other people noticed with theirs. The LED light inside the fridge works well. There's no similar light for the freezer though. Deep shelves on the inside of the fridge door make it easy to store drink cartons, bottles of sauces and condiments. The shelves inside the fridge give plenty of room for other items. The vegetable drawer seems to work well too and to keep my vegetables fresh. I like that the glass roofing that compartment makes it easy to see at a glance what vegetables I have yet to use, and it's easy to pull out the drawer and get to the produce. There's also a pull out shelf in the fridge, which would make it easier to get to items stored further back. This seems like good design to me in terms of accessibility. The pull out drawers for the freezer section are also very handy, as I don't have to dig through the freezer to get to items stored at the back. There's been no frost build up during the time I've been using it. I've left both the fridge and freezer at the recommended temperature, but if I wanted to change that it would be easy to do so via the control panel that's visible when I open the fridge door. I registered the fridge with Samsung for an extended warranty, which has also given me some peace of mind. So far, I am very happy with my purchase.

I’m delighted with my fridge freezer. It arrived in protective packaging ensuring perfect condition of product. So much space inside; it’s a delight. Temperature remains perfect even during this very hot weather. Initially I was concerned when I switched it on and returned to check it a few hours later. I noticed that both sides of the fridge; nearest to the door, were very hot. I checked with Samsung reviews etc, and found that this is a safety feature. There’s almost no heat at the back of the fridge, which is often where problems start. Much less heat now, and any that is generated will be most welcome on winter days. Ten year warranty. It’s a good buy. Update 6-12-22. I bought this item over 2 year’s ago. I’m still as enthusiastic about the product. No problems at all. It’s quiet, and runs well with no negative issues at all. At the moment this fridge- freezer is out of stock on amazon. I paid £350- in June 2020. There is a similar Samsung product available, it’s slightly larger, at 340 litres. Knowing what I know now about Samsung Fridge-freezers, I would have no problem in recommending their products.

Needed a new fridge but it had to be black. This one came within budget and had good reviews. All well deserved. It's a good one. Shelves easy to take out & clean, Door Storage brill. Takes big bottles (4 pint milk) easily . Love the little wine bottle holder. Spacious and easy to live with. Looks good too. Yes, as some people have complained, fingermarks show up, so just quickly wipe it. Just cos you can't see fingermarks on your white fridge shouldn't mean it isn't kept clean. All in all this is a really good fridge

Samsung fridge-freezer deliverd and installed as arranged, on time and without any problems. Two delivery men were helpful and efficient. One little tiny niggle - item wasn't leveled up and is consequently a little rocky in use. adjustable feet are a bit difficult and stiff to use so will probably resort to inserting a beer mat underneath one of the front feet! Extreemly pleased with my purchase until I checked the purchase details on the day it was delivered only to find that from the time I ordered the item to the time of delivery the purchase price had gone down by £50.00. This discovery has rather taken the edge off the initial feeling of pleasure and satisfaction I felt from the purchase of this Samsung Fridge-Freezer. The Fridge-Freezer itself is excellent but unfortunately, on this occasion, the same can't be said about Amazon's pricing policy.
