This Standing Aid works great! I took my elderly husband to physical therapy and showed the Therapist this device. They said it was a wonderful tool. We used it and it really works. Make sure the standing person is not too close and the seated person bends at the waist and has to reach for the handle. Very easy to get them up.

This item works as described. For us It has helped my wife get out of bed, up from the couch and out of the car. I think it would also be good if there was a fall involved and you had to get somebody off of the floor. It also avoids bruising on the back of her hands by grabbing too tightly to help her up.

Looks solid for its purpose . Purchased because I might need some assistance at some point- a minor fall /my knees are crap or I don’t know. It would work much better than someone just pulling on your wrists and hands - no! I hate that idea . Happy with this just in case purchase. If you need daily help getting up from chair or bed this looks like it would be a safer more controlled way if the person has some strength to grip/pull up as the other person lifts.

Hoping this helps. I fell a week ago and struggled to get on my feet. This just may be the answer.

The item is somewhat awkward. You’re too close to the recipient. It throws off your balance. If the person alters their stance you can loose your balance and fall over.

Great device for lifting someone that is above your weight. Portable enough to hang on a hook (centrally located) to be redidly available
