If you're looking to replace the gas lift on a SecretLab Titan 2020, you're looking at a compatible product! This was a perfect replacement for a 2020 SecretLab Titan chair, albeit the lift is considerably higher than the original, it lowers enough that it's perfectly useable. Works as expected. Easy to fit once you struggle to get the old one out! Doesn't suffer with the same wobble the original SecretLab one had.

Good quality and value fitted to the chair and works perfectly

The strut on my Secret Lab chair started to fail. I looked at quite a few options, including the Secret Lab website (the latter being of very little help). I wanted something that is going to last, as getting these out is bit of a pain. So far this strut is working well over the past four months. It is considerably taller than the original Secret Lab strut. I have it almost bottomed out to sit at my desk. On plus side if it does fail it won't make much difference.

Look, it fits my chair great, and I don't have an office chair, it's a hefty gaming chair. The only reason I went for it is because the weight of both me and the chair are about a third of the limit. Performance wise, I've had two of these. I upgraded both of my chairs due to failing pumps, and these have held up great! The value for money is fantastic, and the ease of assembly can't even be brought up seriously because you simply slot it into the slot and boom, it's working. Stability is not an issue as this pump fits most chairs. The only problem I've had is sometimes the pump will just go up on its own? I've had pumps go down while they're being sat on, but this just makes the chair go up while it's not in use, which can result in some issues. Such as knocking things off my desk... Not a fun thing to wake up at 4AM because my chair decided to come to life haha. It's okay though, I've found a lovely workaround that includes literally weighing the chair down a bit. (A half raise is taller than the max raise on the previous pump, for context on why I don't use it fully extended.)

This is a great way to get a seat high enough for normal people, it appears that to get a seat that is at a height that you can sit on without having your knees up at your ears, I believe that I am about average in height at 5'10" but every chair I tried left me with my knees around my shoulders at the highest setting but with this strutt I could sit in a normal position with my knees at 90° (which is normal to me) so thanks to this strutt I now have a seat that does not leave me in pain.

Needed to replace the lift on my work chair. Was a bit wary since I had never replaced one before. Happy to say the new part works perfectly. Like most of the other reviews have pointed out, the hardest part will be getting the old lift out of your chair but once you've done that, you're golden. Fitting the new part is simplicity itself. I think I'll buy a spare for when this new one fails. If ever. But for now I'm just glad I no longer have to keep adjusting the height on my chair during standups because it kept sinking. Highly recommended.

Bought this in May 2024 , still going strong . I am 16 stone , I have always had problems with the standard pumps failing after so many months . Doesn't matter how expensive the chairs you buy this still happens . So you might as well save yourself the problem by buying it the same you buy a new chair . Easier to fit etc. the only thing I would say is I think it is a bit expensive , but then again if you want the problem to go away hopefully this the solution .
