ANTOBLE Dryer Door Switch for 3406109 3406107 Whirlpool, Kenmore, Sears, Maytag, Roper, Estate

Even though the specific Maytag dryer I have was not listed as one this will fit, it fit perfectly and worked great. There is a great video that demonstrates how to access the switch. Very easy. The only difficult part was taking the connector for the wiring apart. I ended up prying the connector apart by sliding it under the connector and gently prying it up. Don't recommend it but pressing the release buttons on top and bottom was difficult for me. Alls well that ends well, 'eh? Easy to install the new part, plug it in and close the lid of the dryer. Worked perfectly. Least expensive part I could find and it worked. So far, so good

My Whirlpool Cabrio gas dryer, approximately 10 years old, would not start. Prior to this, the internal light stopped turning on when the dryer door was opened despite changing out the bulb. Upon checking, I found that the dryer door switch mechanism seemed to be internally broken (i.e., no spring back when the switch latch was pushed). I found this replacement switch on-line and it was delivered in 3 days. Once I figured out how to open the top of the dryer (help videos didn't cover my model), it was simple to replace the old switch with the new one - two screws hold the switch in place and it's easy to disconnect the old switch from the electrical connector and plug in the new one. Once the top was back in place, the dryer started without a problem and the internal light worked. It's been working great for a month now.

I have a Maytag Centenial dryer that the switch lost its switchyness. When pushing the black nub it appears to be too loose and no longer turned off the light to my dryer. I saw that this replacement part had nothing but good reviews, so I purchased it. First let me say that installation was not hard at all. The hardest part is getting the top cover of the dryer pryed open. I opted to pry only a portion of the dryer due to the positon of my dryer. The part worked perfect. As soon as I snapped off the old one and poped this one in the dryer was back to good as new.♥ TIP: If you have problems taking off the old switch from the power source, then use a flat head screw driver to get under the middle latches that hold the two pieces together.PROS■ Works as advertised.■ Easy installation.■ Not OEM but looks just like the OEM part.■ Saves a boatload of $$$ replacing yourself.CONS■ Doesn't install on its own.■ You have to take apart the top of your dryer a bit (Not hard to do though)

Received this item on time and it was simple to connect to my dryer. My dryer is much older, and I was not ready nor felt the need to replace it, when I could possibly fix it myself. Based on using various sources to determine which clothes dryer switch to buy, I settled on this one and I'm satisfied with the results. I installed it then tested my dryer and it works!! Installing/ changing the switch was simple. Be careful as to not drop anything down the lint trap as you're removing or replacing the screws. I ended up having to remove the back panel to fetch the drill bit that fell down the vent--- after in installed the switch. This has nothing to do with the product itself, but maybe my experience will help someone avoid a mistake I made.

It successfully replaced a broken switch and made my old dryer work again.

My son's dryer stopped working. He checked it out and said we needed this part. I ordered it, he put it on and the thing was fixed perfectly! It would have cost us a lot of money to have a repairman come and fix the machine. My son did it himself, it was quick, and it's been running now for weeks, and we've had no problems. I WILL buy it again if needed.
