BANGSON 1.7 Cu.Ft Mini Fridge with Freezer for Dorm Office,Silver

My husband is diabetic and we have quite a lot of medication that needs refrigerating. So, we decided to try this fridge. I have to say - it's really awesome. It's super quiet. Like, you will never hear it running and running. We bought a thermometer to be certain the medication is safe. It keeps a perfectly stable interior temp. The one thing I would say is wonky - there is a small box that is supposed to be a freezer shelf - even comes with a mini plastic ice cube tray. BUT - the ice box shelf doesn't work. Since we that wasn't our goal to ever use - we don't really worry about that. If you plan to use the freezer shelf - it probably will not keep things frozen. But - if you need to keep a few things reliably/stably cold and is quiet - this is the only one! A great price and great little fridge. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Wonderful little fridge! Perfect size if you don't have a lot of space. It keeps everything very cold and has a mini freezer that works great! Also, love the red color.

I bought this for my Dads room at the Retirement home to hold his protein shakes. I think it has done well. It is starting to frost up since I purchased it a few months ago so I am docking a star because I am as of yet unsure if it is going to be a problem. Overall it keeps his pepsi and protein drinks cold. It takes a minute to cool but it is not a bad little fridge. It is fairly compact. We are able to put it on the bed side table and he has limited mobility and is able to pull the door open for ease of function. It is not loud very useful and it looks nice with the stainless steel.

QUALITY. It is really cute and tiny. There’s a tiny little place to freeze things, but if you have it on a lower setting, it might not freeze anything. I had to put it on 5 to freeze something in it, which is the highest setting, but that also froze everything else in the fridge, except for the stuff in the door. 4 is just cold enough to freeze what’s in the tiny freezer box and not what’s in the fridge unless you put something big in there which I had a couple of reusable ice packs stacked in there I was trying to freeze and couldn’t freeze them until I put it on 5. But once I did freeze them and I put it back to four they stayed frozen. PACKAGING. The box was damaged and there wasn’t enough packaging between the box and the fridge to keep it protected, so the fridge came with a dent and a tiny bit of damage to the side. Customer service was willing to work with me on that. HELPFUL HINT. When you get the package just make sure you always keep it upright, even a mini fridge should never be tipped over and if it is tipped over leave it upright for 24 hours before you plug it in. It will automatically turn on when you plug it in.

My 5 stars is not only for the fridge but for the customer service I received from the seller. Reminded me of customer service that was more the norm than not when the seller makes sure everything is right even when it wasn’t their fault. It’s seen so little today that I needed to recognize I just got excellent service. Thank you @ Bangson The fridge will look great in my granddaughter’s dorm room.

I bought this unit when my other space refrigerator quit after 20 years of good service. This one is nicely finished in silver on the front which will be easy to clean. The unit is very quiet, I do not hear it unless I get within 3 feet of it. Two stars off for its weak cooling. On the highest level which is 5, the inside temperature was 39 F. One of my older space refrigerators is on medium level and the temp is 39 F. I will continue to use my older refrigerators for foods that need to be really cold such as spices, and nuts. I will use this one for grains, lentils and flours. I would not buy this again but it will suffice once I rearrange the goods in my other two space refrigerators. It also came with a small dent in the front and two large scratches on the top. The dent is not that noticeable and the top is never going to be seen so I am not sending it back. I have now owned this for about 3months and notice that the magnetic sealing is not working. The door will not stay closed. I secured the door closed with a bungee cord wrapped around the unit. Too late to send it back. Two stars off for inadequate magnetic sealing.

Manufacturer recommendation based on the instruction manual was to put on setting 3. This left our food warm and actually caused us to think the fridge didn't work! We requested a refund due to the fridge not getting cold enough to meet our needs and were granted a full refund while being able to keep the product! Amazing customer service. We realized after the fact it actually works very well and keeps food cold when on the highest setting (setting 5). Definitely keep it on the coldest setting and just be prepared to manually remove any ice buildup. Overall, the fridge is quiet and has a decent amount of room for such a compact unit. Great purchase.
