Best budget filament I've had so far
I've tried several budget filament brands, but nothing quite meets the standard of AMZ3D so far. So far I am only printing in PLA so I cannot comment on their ABS, but the PLA is great - I've had no issues with the spools whatsoever. The diameter of the filament is consistent throughout the spool and I didn't have to change any settings from my other spools.Other brands have caused my nozzle to block on occasion but I haven't experienced this yet with an AMZ3D spool. They have a great selection of colours to choose from and so I decided to try this transparent blue. I was working on a project involving printing hex tiles for a table top game, and this filament makes for excellent water tiles! I highly recommend another of their colours - fluorescent green - for grassland tiles. Usually when I've used transparent colours in the past I wasn't too impressed with the end product, but the AMZ3D filament didn't disappoint at all. Prints well at 190C and the finished product looks great. I've now bought a spool of the transparent orange to try out next along with some of their regular black filament. I will review these once I have had the chance to use them as my printer is out of action until I have finished putting together my Lack enclosure. My next purchase from AMZ3D will probably be the wood or copper filament as I really want to try some of these more exotic filament varieties. Pros ------------------------- - Great selection of colours, I highly recommend trying the transparent blue if you like the look of it. - Consistent filament diameter - Prints well at 190C - Cheap!!! Cons ------------------------- I couldn't find a fault with this filament if I am totally honest. Especially at the price band. Review of the black & transparent orange filaments will be posted as soon as I have had a chance to test them.

Really good filament and good colour selection.
Great PLA filament. Out of all the filaments I've tried, this is one of the best filaments. Great adhesion to base plate. No warping or shrinkage. I'm desperate to get some more, but everything is currently not available. I really hope they bring more in soon.

Prints great and looks awesome. Easy to print with, no complaints. ๐
I ran out of black filament and went for this as it looked good and was reasonably priced. Iโm really happy I did as this filament is great. It prints amazingly well, offers great bed adhesion and very little stringing. Iโve already prints loads of things using this and theyโve all turned out great. Even the mechanical scissor snake worked perfectly first time around. I put a little video of the moment I first tried it out. The filament also has a very good tolerance and passed smoothly through my Bowden tube. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking a reliable and easy to use black PLA.

Great value with some minor quirks
Like most 3D print hobbyists, I've tried all manor of filament in the past. Cheap, expensive, every colour under the sun. I've used 75% of this roll and will confidently be ordering again. Price to quality is amazing. Measured a few points and got great tolerences, prints to a high quality at 200 on the end, great layer adhesion. One issue I have found is that the first layer likes to curl if you're printing larger hollow U shapes. This is easily remedied with a wide enough brim, but it's still a bit annoying to have to compensate for. Overall, if you know your way around your printer, and know how to troubleshoot the odd print failure, for he price this filament is absolutely fantastic.

So far this is a great PLA - updated
I have now used about 80% of the 1kg and it prints really well. Does not matter .much what layer height of speed. Sticks well to the bed, does not string much. And print quality is really excellent, needed a magnifier to see lines on some of the prints. When starting a new print make sure you extrude a bit before starting a print as It retracts quite a bit overnight. It is nicely white white, it appears whiter than in the picture. Comes in a cardboard box and the spool is vacuum packed inside the box. Can only recommend and I will buy another one. Update: a year in and I am still using this filament in various colours. Never had an issue in the many it's I've used. Where others have clogged up or were inconsistent or stringy. Used white black blue and red. And am here to buy some more.

Great filament, great price.
I am a 3D printing novice and picked up my first printer, the Creality Ender 5 Pro, last week. Since the included filament was junk decided to get something simple and relatively cheap so I donโt chew through good stuff while Iโm learning. So far have had a number of successful prints with this stuff. The only upgrade made to my printer is a glass bed and at 75c, I didnโt have any trouble with adhesion with a brim type raft configured in Cura. I have the nozzle at 205c and havenโt had issues with clogging and is easy to remove from the Teflon Bowden tube fitted on this model. The benchy benchmark turned out well at 30% infill and 60mm/s print speed. I plan on getting more filament from this brand in the future and eventually venture to different filament types.

Is transparent when used correctly
This is a good quality filament that prints well at settings of 200 nozzle and 60 bed! Many reviews here complain about transparency but need to remember this is laters of melted plastic....its not going to look exactly like glass BUT you can increase the transparency after printing by coating it in a gloss or resin. You can't expect it to print thousands of crystal clear layers of melted plastic straight onto the bed, that makes no sense. If you choose not to gloss the printed item you're left with a very pretty frosted crystal look....so its great either way depending on your need.

Some people want their rolls of filament to look pretty on the spool. This is not the spool to get for that. Since that doesn't actually affect how well this stuff prints though and it doesn't matter to me no stars lost. I bought this filament for a special project for some items we wanted in a Safety Yellow/Green style. Was making some signs for a sale that was going on while road construction was limiting access to the storefront. +Great color +Very even and no extrusion issues on any of my three printers +Well packaged +Consistent results, I printed about 60% of the spool already and have printed a lot of the same items and they are all coming out identical This was my first purchase of this brand of filament and I enjoyed using it so much I purchased 2 more spools in different colors. I will be purchasing this again to replace my almost depleted spool and will be offering this as a standard available color for all prints going forward.

There's not a lot of reviews on the Amz3d filament but I saw a post on one the big sites and the owner seemed to be participating (or someone with knowledge at the company) and answering questions. I don't have many questions (other then what's the color really look like and does it work) but I am usually swayed when people with a vested interest in their company make that kind of effort. At $16/spool, I bought brown and orange. I normally only use Hatchbox, so that's my comparison. The prints have been flawless and I've given the fact that it wasn't Hatchbox zero thought. I set it up just like normal (205/65 on PEI) and walked away. My first print was a go-for-broke 4 hour job. Printed the legs for the giant lego man off thingiverse and it was perfect. The brown is a nice dark color (I'll get photos up soon) and there were no problems whatsoever. Word of note... on a thin print there's a red/purple tint that shows through. I'm not sure what it would look like in say a vase or a something like that. I might print one just to see but the color might not as brown as intended. My parts were 50% infill and the brown is very much so brown. I haven't been paid for this review. I bought these spools with my own money. I hate that I even have to say this but with all the 'paid' reviews these days, I just need it to be clear. I'm not a 'measure the filament' guy but it passed the eye (and print) test with flying colors. I'll do a review of the orange soon.

Looks good (unique color). The color was the reason that I bought it.
