Nice inverter and works well with my laptop
This is a nice little inverter. It has a convenient LCD power meter which shows you 12V battery voltage as well as the AC voltage and frequency (Hz) that is being output. I've used it to power my laptop on multiple occasions and the laptop likes the pure sinewave AC power (many electronic device will complain and operate oddly on the cheaper non-sinewave inverters. Very quiet as well.

Accomplishes itโs purpose
This isnโt something at least in the 500 watt version that is going to run much when the power goes out โ in SC we had a Hurricane go through that left my family without power for three days (some still donโt have power almost two weeks later) โ I set up a little experiment with this and found that it will fast charge my rechargeable electronics and flashlights โ I tried using the USB outlets in my car but that was not worth the gas at the slow charge rate โ I can hook this right up to the car battery without turning on the motor and charge several items at the same time โ with the display you can see the input voltage from the car and run the motor only when needed and verify the output voltage to be close to 120 VAC โ the more devices you add the lower the voltage goes โ I tried to run a corded drill and then my lawn mower battery charger with the same result โ the output voltage dropped below 30 VAC and the inverter alarm went off as did the inverter โ when I removed the load all was good again โ of course the motor running requires the car to be outside โ this is small enough that if the weather is bad you can put everything under the hood safely away from moving parts and heat โ the input terminals need to be modified to get a tight fit on the wire lugs โ the knobs donโt have deep enough threads to fully tighten down onto the wires โ I had to put a couple of extra washers on the terminals to get a tight fit โ there were three thin washers included so I would have only been able to get one side tight โ I can use this for what I ordered it for so I am very happy with this inverter โ go for a model that has a display, otherwise there is too much guess work and that would likely end up with a blown fuse

Works Great with very little stand by current used
I purchased this one to use to power an antenna rotor when we are out in the field. I am so pleased that is hardley draws any current just turned on. The last time I purchased one was 10 years ago (Still have it and it still works just to big to take portable) my old one would draw 2.5 amps just turned on with nothing plugged into it. Man they have really improved them in 10 years. This one has a little problem, the watts on the display does not work it just shows 0000 no matter how much I draw from it. I like it so much that I am keeping it for my Radio room in the basement (I already have power usage monitoring set up, I run my entire Amateur Radio setup off solar power). I am going to order another one for portable and hopefully that display works. I need to know in the field how much I am drawing from my battery. For 69$ this thing is just perfect!

Great option for remote location power requirement.
Works great! I need a bigger battery to offset the parasitic loss but thumbs up!

a complete waste of time and money
Bought this 4 days ago. Since the power grid here in Texas is less reliable than a 7th world country, I knew it was only a matter of time before the power would randomly go out in the middle of a sunny 70 degree day. (And I know about power grids in 7th world countries. I lived in Miami for 18 months.) Which, as it happens, was today. Nice job, Texas. I knew I could count on you. Got this product out of the box. Hooked it up to my fish tank cords to keep the fish alive. Connected it to a battery, and...nothing. Not a thing. No power. There are two 30w fuses included in the box, but no instructions or diagrams on how to check or swap them soooooo....it went back within minutes of pulling it out of the box.
