Brilliant results
I was pleasantly surprised at how well my headlights cleaned up on my old Corsa D they had 20 years of damage and had faded nearly completely. And needed to replace them for my not. It takes about a hour each headlamp and they cleaned up perfectly like brand new great value for money and easy to do.

Worked way better than expected.
Was not expecting such good results. Was a little apprehensive whether it would work or not - but my car is 17 years old and the lens was looking very tired and didn’t have anything to lose. I did mistakenly think the 3000 grit was 300 as the printing on the back was off the edge and only showed 300. And the polishing pad came unstuck from the Velcro pad, but only after I had finished and was trying to remove it. But apart from that it worked really well. Car looks 10 years younger. Took a couple of hours all in. But worth it.

Results after sealer is applied
Great kit that does the job very well for the cost, really easy to do, just follow all the steps & after you've applied the sealer at the end it looks like new. I had some cloudy headlights to bring back to life & this product did the job. I used low tack decorators tape to mask off, works well and leaves no residue. Recommend product

Great Result - Like New!
I used this on my 2005 Honda CRV. Both lights had considerable oxidation and would likely not pass the MOT. I followed the instructions, apart from manually sanding, which I feel gives much better control and more even results. I used the drill and foam pad for the polishing and it worked great. Both lights looked like new when done with the coating applied. And there's still enough of everything left to do another car, so great value! I will definitely buy this again if I need it.

Holts Headlight Restoration Kit - Good Results, but Not Long-Lasting
I recently tried the Holts Headlight Restoration Kit, and while it delivered decent results, I have some mixed feelings about its longevity. Pros: Effective Cleaning: The kit worked well to clear up my foggy headlights. After using it, they looked noticeably brighter and clearer, which improved my night driving visibility. Easy to Use: The instructions were straightforward, and the included materials made the process pretty simple, even for a DIY novice like me. Cons: Durability Issues: Unfortunately, the restored clarity didn’t last as long as I hoped. After just a few months, I noticed some fogging starting to return, which is disappointing. Limited Protection: While it does a great job initially, I wish the kit offered better long-term protection against UV damage and environmental factors. Overall, the Holts Headlight Restoration Kit provides good results for a temporary fix. If you're looking for a quick solution, it’s worth considering, but be prepared to repeat the process sooner than you might like.

Worked like a charm. Great results.
Excellent. To be honest I wasn't expecting the results I got. I bought this just to give it a go before replacing the lenses. But no need. I didn't take the BEFORE pics because I wasn't expecting success. But believe me when I tell you that my lenses looked like they had cataracts. This is a 23 year old car. Take a look at them now. I did the sanding my hand using small circular motions. Used a drill for the final buffing/polish.

Terrible. Awful product, with numerous issues. Buy autoglym kit instead.
Fundamentally flawed product. The drill attachment doesn’t have the required cushioning for the sanding pad. Meaning, when you move the drill over your light the contact area is tiny, it’s too flat, it skips over the light. The polish comes with no instructions - how much do you use? Meaning even on slow drill speed the paste flicked everywhere, clothes, face. I followed instructions to letter and have ended up with a cloudy headlight. I’ve used kits before and this is by far the worst. Save your money and buy the autoglym kit…. You’ll see how their sanding pads have a cm or so of foam backing, without that this product doesn’t work at all. Absolutely useless and raging to have wasted an hour on this.

My headlamps were blind – now they see!
To begin with, having never tried this before, I was worried I might be making my headlamp lens covers *worse*. The drill attachment was skipping all over the place however firmly I held the drill and it was not as easy as the videos in preparation seemed! However, you are aiming for a uniform “cloudiness” gradually reducing each step as the abrasive used gets finer. It was not until the final sanding disk grade (3000) that I began to think it was looking a bit more promising. The polish applied with the rotary sponge further improves things and then the final sealant coat when polished with the soft micro-fibre cloth provided brings a nice shine to the finish. The abrasive disks could be better marked. They are stamped out of larger sheets so the grade marking is not always visible. Unlikely that none of the disks have a visible grade marking so it is possible to pair up the disks in their respective grades – each grade looks slightly different and there are two of each. As mentioned, the drill disk pad holder did not work well for me. My headlamp lens covers are highly convex and the pad kept skipping across the surface however firmly or gently I held the drill. I was worried about badly marking the surface so I cupped the abrasive disks in the palm of my hand and keeping everything very wet just gently rubbed the pad over the area in a circular motion. This took a bit longer probably but it seemed a less risky approach and worked out quite well. Ideally there would be an interface pad provided in the kit so that the abrasive disks can be mounted on a softer backing when using a drill for convex surfaces. If I was doing this again I’d probably get a thick sponge 75mm interface pad to place between the disk pad holder and the abrasive disk. I think it is very important to use something like a plant spray bottle to keep the sanding area thoroughly wet during sanding. I probably spent about 40 minutes on each headlamp. I’m pleased with the results. With practise I think a better finish is probably possible but I think the final finish was plenty good enough. There seemed to be very adequate quantities of sealant and polish provided - plenty of product left after use. For £13.99 avoiding an MoT failure was well worth it to me.
