An absolutely great sandal. Adjustable at the heel with a velcro strap. Some arch support built-in. I walk the golf course 3 to 6 miles depending on a nine hole or 18 whole day... And they are comfortable for the whole round. I typically wear an 8 and 1/2, but I ordered the size 8 and while they felt slightly close at the end of the big toes initially, that worked itself out just fine. So the size 8 worked great, and I think a size 8.5 would have as well. The soul is good and has some grip to it, but the tread contours could be deeper if I wanted to use it for more serious hiking. Of course since the soul is very flexible, you would not want to use it for scree hiking.

These are nice looking, durable and comfortable shoes for a good price. However, I would suggest you size up. I truly wear a size 7 and they were too small, so I had to return and get a size 8. I really appreciate the strap in the back of the shoe to get your foot in or out at ease.

Wow! These are great hiking sandals, just like Keens only 1/3 the price. These sandals were comfortable right out of the box. I love the velcro strip at the back - makes them easier to put on. The toe box is plenty wide and the sandals are true to size. The color is more blue than navy, but they match my well-worn jeans. I'm not sure if they're water resistant yet, but at this price and quality, it won't matter. I my order another pair in another color.

I really want to make these work! I like the upper material and the comfortable foot bed. The arch support feels good, which is important to me to keep plantar fasciitis at bay. I got the gray and green ones and like the color combination and their sporty appearance. The stitching, velcro, and material seem sturdy. I'm on the fence about keeping them, though, because my little toes want to pop out from under the strap. I have a wide foot and can often wear 7.5 if the shoe is wide enough. I ordered these in an 8, and they fit well in the width. I might be able to wear a half size smaller, but they only come in whole sizes. I can tighten the velcro heel strap to snug my foot down into the toe box just far enough to hold my little toes in, but that makes the upper press into the top of my foot a bit where it meets my ankle. The material is soft, so it doesn't hurt, but it might not be comfortable long term. I also worry that my little toes will pop back out if I'm hiking or have wet feet. It's annoying to have the end of my toe bump into the strap, and I'm concerned it might cause a blister. My little toes are short compared to the others, so I sometimes have this problem with sandal straps. Sigh!

The package arrived opened, so initially, I was skeptical. However, thankfully the reviews are spot on! Great fit, arch support, cushioned soles, lightweight, and very comfortable! Way to go Dannto!!

These walking shoes are very comfortable and easy to put on. They look nice too. I do put a cushioning pad in them before walking because of a arthritis I have on one big toe, but other than that, I love them. Purchased as a reasonable price too.

I have had these for long enough now and have hiked in them plenty enough to make these 1 of my go to hiking footwear. The front toe covering has with stood stubbing on stones to roots and has protected my toes very well. It provides the right kind of arch support and it is not too cushiony or hard. The bottom of the sandal is easy to clean when small pebbles gets stuck. The strap stays in place and does not rub the ankles...very important when going up or down hill. Grip is pretty good but have not tried it on wet rocky surface. Wearing these on road trips makes it easy to do multiple activities including hiking without having to change footwear. Surprisingly, my feet feel uncomfortable when I walk in them a lot in a mall! Definitely these are hiking sandals for me!
