I was hesitation at first considering that most people say get ones that start from 300+ but as a beginner I didn't want to put out too much into it incase I didn't enjoy it. I choose this as its a good price and to be honest it works brilliantly.I haven't found anything of valuable as of yet but as a whole its easy to set up and use. It works on the beach and land so you don't have to worry about getting different ones for certain areas. Just make sure if you do it in the sea/ beach you put the coil in the water first before you start.Overall very happy and the spade is amazing.

Not to get into detecting as a hobby, I was after one to find nails/screws left lying around off workmen. Although this wasn't the cheapest detector I could find, the reviews online and on Amazon were very good. I have watched a few YouTube videos and in no time I had it up and running. The included headphones, digging tool and holdal seem of very good quality. I was going to remove a star as getting the detailed instructions seems long winded by having to join Facebook group. But a query I had with customer services and the quick friendly reply I received meant the 5 stars remained.

I had high hopes for this detector that I purchased for my grandson to get him into detecting and based on previous reviews this would be an ideal purchase but the reviews didn’t do it justice, this is an excellent detector. So easy to set up and use, you will not be disappointed. After sales service was first class with quick messages with links to excellent guides, they really are a first class company to deal with.

Item works as it should but screen was shattered underneath protective film.

Had to put together ,a blown up picture would of made this easier, but i managed without too much trouble, have took it out for quick test, and so far it seems fine, only trouble was Alaminium drinks cans and the end of shotgun cartridges are Non ferris metals, so it cant really discrimate them from Precious metals ,but when i hit an iron nail the tone slowed down and the iron nail picture flashed, one very good Feature i noticed was the pin pointing it was spot on, thats about all i can say without a proper test

I found the product facilitates a surprising selection of settings to detect different materials. The gadget is well designed and makes treasure hunting an ideal and very convenient means for any person seeking what is buried.The product excels in its depth of detection of various kinds of metals.I find MT-XR exceeds my expectations and I have already made progress on my first attempt. I have only just set out on the treasure hunting platform and I am very satisfied with my choice in metal detectors after extensive research.Thanks to Dr Otek for this excellently designed product, that I also wish to include has been very affordable. What a great detector!Took it to a local beach to have a play and get to know the machine... easy, very easy to use!It's sturdy and doesn't come loose like a MD I had before.Whether you're a seasoned detectorist or a beginner this is a definite go to, get the bundle... sorted!

Disappointing PerformanceI had high hopes for this metal detector, but it’s been nothing short of frustrating.
