Do these contain beeswax? What waxes are in these?

a special non-toxic, food-grade microcrystalline wax, the kind used in bubblegum and lipsticks 2teachstore

Yes absolutely. They do get dirty over time, but if you keep them in a clean, dry place, they should be able to be reused over and over again for months at least. My kids usually wreck ours within a couple weeks however. Even with me being as vigilant as possible. ;)

Which wax is used in these? Colophony, which causes contact dermatitis in many kids?

Wikki Stix are made of hand-knitting yarn enhanced with a microcrystalline, food-grade non-toxic wax… the kind used in bubble gum and lipstick. And that’s it.

how many designs in each packet?

There are no designs per se, these are waxy-like bendable stick-like things that twist and shape into whatever you create. A lot of fun for those little hands to build dexterity.
