A solid ergonomic office chair pro for day to day comfort
It feels sturdy and well supported when seated. Especially appreciate the lower back and neck support. The lower back support is angled ergonomically so that a push can be felt as the body leans back. The neck support is highly adjustable that it almost guarantees a comfortable setting for different postures and body types. The other parts worth mentioning are foot rest and arm rests. The foot rest has 15kg weight limit as labeled, but should be good enough for normal use. When the foot rest is fully extended out with maximum recline of the seat back, it works as a solid lounge chair substitute. Arm rests are insanely adjustable too. In fact, they are the most versatile ones I have ever seen. I used to spent lengthy time on a Herman Miller Cosm. Its build quality and material feel are better than this Sihoo, but this one offers more seating comfort and functionality. Considering the price difference, it will be hard not to recommend this one.

After spending countless hours at my desk, I finally found the perfect companion for my workday - the SIHOO Doro C300 Ergonomic Office Chair. It’s not just a chair; it’s a game-changer. From the moment I sat down, the difference was clear. The ultra-soft 3D armrests cradle my arms like a gentle cloud, reducing fatigue during those long coding sessions. Extremely uncomfortable!!
This is the most unforgiving, uncomfortable office/desk chair I have ever had the displeasure of sitting in. I could only sit in this chair about 20 minutes at a time when it first arrived due to tailbone and lower back pain. I purchased two different cushions to sit on in the chair and can now sit about 35 minutes before the tailbone and lower back pain is so bad I must get out of the chair. I work from home, 8 hours per day, and sit and stand intermittently throughout the day. Unfortunately I did not keep the box the chair arrived in or I would have disassembled it and returned the chair. I purchased this chair based on the reviews and statements that the chair was ergonomic in design and comfortable. I applaud whoever is able to sit comfortably in this chair for any length of time. I have wondered, are the reviews fake? Staged? My old chair I was planning to get rid of is more comfortable than this one. I have bought a new standing desk, monitors, monitor and laptop holders to improve my productivity and comfort. Then there is “the chair”. The purchase of this chair was the last of the money I had to revamp my office so I guess I am stuck with it. After reading this review and you still plan to order this chair, please keep the box and take pictures of all the parts in the box before removing each piece to get it back in the box if you need to return it. It took about 45 minutes to put together. Thank you for your time.

Good Chair, but Disappointed by Misleading Overseas Version
I like this chair, but I’m disappointed by SIHOO’s misleading marketing approach. My friends and I have used SIHOO chairs in China for years, trusting them for cost-effectiveness and quality. When we come to US, we naturally choose SIHOO again. To my surprise, the overseas C300 model severely compromises the brand’s value. Before buying, we noticed that overseas versions (like the S100 and C300) lack a footrest found in the Chinese versions, but we didn’t know why. Once I received the C300, I still found it comfortable and well-built. However, after reading more on Chinese review videos, I realized the overseas C300 is essentially a downgraded product that conflicts with the SIHOO Doro series’ original concept. Key differences: 1. The original version uses a gravity-sensitive tilt mechanism with wire controls, while the overseas version uses simpler pole controls. 2. The original has a seat-depth adjustment feature, but the overseas version does not. 3. The tilt angle advertised in Chinese official website is 95°–145°, while the English site states 92°–112°, and 110°–130° on Amazon. This discrepancy suggests an inferior tilt mechanism. 4. The base is downgraded from a single integrated unit to five separate pieces. In China, the original costs about $220–$250 with free on-site installation — a product more comparable to the $400 overseas C300 Pro (2024.12.8), which offers flip-up armrests and adjustable seat depth, though it remains inferior to the original C300 in terms of tilt mechanism and base. Why did I keep digging reviews after receiving a decent chair? Because the manual doesn't include Chinese, even though it provides English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Arabic! I feel misled by the identical product name. Although regional differences are understandable, the abundance of information on Chinese Internet set my expectations too high. If I had known the overseas C300 was so different, I would have chosen the C300 Pro instead. When considering only the overseas versions, I can hardly recommend SIHOO chairs to my friends because, despite also being made in China, I have no idea where the overseas versions' factory is, what the cost and workmanship are like, so I can't judge the cost-effectiveness. In terms of C300 quality alone, I am 5'6" tall and weigh 155 pounds, and the size of this chair suits me well, with good attention to detail in workmanship. Update on 2024 Dec 28: According to information from the Sihoo customer service team, the C300 model in the US is actually the C100 in China (and it seems to be the C100 Gen 1 instead of Gen 2). And they said they will make certain improvements to some issues mentioned above. In view of the long long email conversations, I believe Sihoo's customer service department treated with their products with care, so I changed the rating.

Do not miss
I bought the SHIOO DORO C300 ergonomic office chair a month ago, and I have to say that I am very satisfied with it. It is one of the most comfortable and supportive chairs that I have ever used. Here are some of the features that I like about this chair: • The ultra soft 3D armrests are adjustable in height, and angle, so I can find the best position for my arms and shoulders. They are also padded with high-density foam, which feels very soft and cozy. • The dynamic lumbar support is a unique feature that automatically adapts to my posture and movements, providing optimal support for my lower back. It helps me maintain a healthy spine alignment and prevent back pain. • The seat cushion is made of breathable mesh fabric, which keeps me cool and dry even after long hours of sitting. It is also contoured to fit my body shape, and has a waterfall edge that reduces pressure on my legs. • The chair has a sturdy and stable base, with five smooth-rolling casters that can move on any surface. It also has a pneumatic height adjustment lever that lets me easily raise or lower the seat. Overall, I think the SHIOO DORO C300 ergonomic office chair is a great product that offers excellent value for money. It is well-designed, well-made, and well-functioning. It has improved my sitting experience and productivity at work. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and ergonomic office chair.

Comfortable and EASY to assemble
Some reviews complain about the assembly, and I imagine this is due to the chair's many parts and many screws. For example, the base of the chair has six parts, not including the wheels: a center piece, and five legs, each leg attached to the center piece with two screws. I've had other (cheaper, weaker) chairs where this is delivered as a single complete piece, or as pieces that slot together without screws. Each arm also has four screws - two attaching the separate pieces of the arm, and then two more to attach it to the seat. The design is also generous with spacers to support the screws - the arms have five spacers each. However, the single most annoying part of assembling an office is attaching the back to the seat. Generally the attachment is purely with screws, so you have to fully hold two heavy objects close together in an awkward way while you get the screws in. I've done this many times with many chairs and it's always been a massive dreaded pain. This chair's different: the back slides onto a mount attached to the seat, and then, although it still isn't stable without screws, all you have to do is support it while you insert the screws. By reducing the difficulty of the SINGLE worst part of office chair assembly, this chair absolutely doesn't deserve any complaints about its assembly. For the comfort and ergonomics, I only have one complaint: the arm rotation is adjustable and I have no use for that feature and only ever activate it unintentionally. This chair has a single control for the gas cylinder where a chair five times its price would have three other controls and position locks. Depending on your body type you might not find the dynamic lumbar support comfortable, but for me it's a very nice chair.

Finally, an office chair that actually keeps me comfortable all day!
It’s honestly made such a difference during my long work sessions. First off, it arrived safely packed. It looks modern and minimalistic. Getting it set up was smoother than I expected. The instructions were clear, and I had it ready to go in under an hour without needing help. Once I sat down, the breathable mesh stood out right away—it keeps airflow going, so I stay cool even after hours at the desk. The dynamic lumbar support is also a game-changer: it naturally shifts with my posture, giving me steady back support whether I lean forward to work or recline to relax. The armrests are flexible—they move up, down, forward, and even rotate whenever I recline, so I can always find a comfy position for typing or leaning back. Though they might feel a bit flimsy at times. Oh, and speaking of reclining—it tilts easily up to around 130 degrees, which is perfect for when I need a quick break. The chair adjusts to my weight too, so reclining never feels stiff or awkward. Despite all these features, it feels really sturdy—solid build, high-quality materials, and smooth, quiet wheels. Minor note: It’s a bit heavy to move once assembled, so plan your layout ahead of time. For great value and solid comfort, this chair gets you a similar mesh aesthetic and adaptive support at a fraction of $1000 Herman Miller price. It supports good posture naturally, and just feels really comfortable—like it’s moving with me instead of resisting. If you're spending lots of time seated, especially working from home, this one’s worth trying out. I had it for 2 years and still going strong.

Beautiful chair
First off, the product arrived beautifully packaged, complete with all the tools and instructions needed to put it together. It took me about half an hour to an hour to assemble, and the instructions were super easy to follow. Now that I’ve been using this chair for a few days, I’ve noticed that I can sit for long periods of time gaming without any lower back pain, all thanks to the lumbar support. The headrest and tilt tension are a lifesaver, allowing me to sit back and relax. Overall, this chair feels premium and well-built. Plus, it comes with a three-year warranty, which is great for peace of mind.
