Excellent product, arrived early, but ideally should have much more detailed instructions. I was dismayed to read reviews saying "completely useless", and "it leaks badly", until I tried it for myself. Firstly, this catheter is not suitable for use whilst sitting in a low chair, as it relies on gravity for the urine to run away from the penis, so your knees must be lower. It is, however, perfectly OK for use whilst sitting in a high-seated chair or stool, and for when standing or walking. There should also be more instructions on hygiene, as prolonged use could easily result in "nappy sores", so zinc&castor oil cream (or similar) may be useful. I also had to cut the connection tube according to the length of my leg. Having said all the above, I am pleased as punch with this catheter, as I now have FREEDOM to leave the house and not worry about being too far from a toilet 😀 It did take me a while to work out how to operate the tap on the bag (hooking my fingers around the pipe and pushing the blue bit with my thumb)

It is not impractical

Unwearable and uncomfortable, however my wife cut out a square with the silicon part/ring and sewed this into a pair of boxers (with an extra hole made). Now works fine and is comfortable. Also as someone elese mentioned, pipe can come loose and detach, so glued pipe to threaded conector - works ok. Great for daytime use, but I wear pads for bed as pipe can get tangled. I need this for another 6 - 12 months following surgery, so pads for daytime would be expensive.

was bought for my elderly father, tried but leaked badly ,nothing in the bag ,total waste of money ,wish i could have given a minus five score , think there is going to be a sealing issue, do not buy
