Great, FAST reader that works every time, rugged
The PixelFlash CFast 2.0 Card Reader is the reader you need, especially if you have a cloning device that expects only ONE drive to show up. These are fast, easy to find in a bag, and just WORK man. I'm very happy with my purchase. I actually purchased a few of these models in different formats. This device is built well and sturdy also.

Card reader to invest in!
I was looking around to purchase a CFast card reader and was reading reviews... and I must say, there can be a lot of crappy products out there on the market. I finally decided on the Pixel Flash CFast Card Reader. It is compact, ultra slim. No cords what-so-ever. Can easily be packed away for a trip. It has the "safety slots" so the card won't bend any pins - huge plus! I've used it a few times already and haven't had any issues! What I also really liked, was the packaging it came in. Cardboard was cut up and shaped around the card reader itself, giving it a snug fit to transport - safety and Eco-friendly - not wasting so much packaging on large boxes. If you're looking for a reliable card reader that's easy to transport, look no further, the Pixel Flash CFast Card Reader is the way to go!

Pixelflash vs Lexar Speedtest
I have both my tried and true Lexar Workflow CFR1 Cfast reader and this new Pixelflash Ultra-slim Cfast reader. So i put them to a speed test and found the Pixelflash reader faster by over 100mb/s, that's about a 30% increase in speed. This is a very noticeable time saver when I'm uploading footage for editing especially on multiple cards. I'm including pictures below for fellow tech-heads. The Ultra Slim reader is very well/precision constructed, you can look at the design and see how they made it so small and skinny. Its a good deal smaller than my CFR1. The Pixelflash unit doesn't need a cable but i keep a usb 3.0 extensiion in my bag in case i need to plug it somewhere hard to reach. the Lexar has a 3 foot cable, so if you need that it's useful. I'm still using the Lexar as my backup but I'll probably get another ultra slim soon. I was surprised at the big trade off of overall speed between the two devices. I started using Pixelflash Cfast cards recently and they are BLAZING fast, I'm all about gear that works as fast as I do.

Instantly transfer files, and feels solid
Having bought a Canon Xc10, I had to buy a card reader to transfer all the files when this arrived, once you have it in your hand, it feels great. It's something you can leave on a desk and it'll look great, or you can throw it in a bag and travel with it and know it's safe. It was an immediate plug and play for me and having transferred all the files from a wedding in a few seconds. Very fast card reader.

Trash! straight up. Cant record 120 or 4k on 1DX ii
kind of embarrassing every-time I'm on set and the memory card automatically stops cause of buffering. Exchanged the first card and received for a second one, and still same issue. Now the company won't even respond to my emails. typical when dealing with trash, I'd recommend spending the extra 50-100 bucks and getting yourself a card from a reliable brand not this crap. (this is also my very first amazon review) Im not into leaving reviews but I hope this one saves one of you from making a $250 dollar mistake.

Made Well
I have been searching a while now for a product like this. As a film maker, I transfer A LOT of photos and raw footage to my MAC and while the other readers that I have used in the past work, the issue that I have come across from other readers is the cable. What I truly liked was the fact that PixelFlash is the only companies that offers a three year warranty for their products. The reader is also made extremely well with its titanium screws and scratch resistant shell. Very well made! In addition, what I also like about this product is the fact that the device plugs directly into the USB port on my MAC. It saves so much space. It is very difficult to do work when there are cables everywhere, external hard drives, card readers, ect. I have used three of these bad boys simultaneously by plugging them all into my ANKER Hub because they are so thin. Love that! It's about 1/4 of the size of my Lexar Workflow reader. Great for traveling, absolutely love this product!!

Wait,high price but disappointed
Not able to use product, was unable to get card in reader. Very disappointing, big build up with good reviews but when product was received I couldn't get it to accept card. Tried several brands but no go I will look some more for a quality card reader

great card reader
been a fan of the CF version and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the CFAST version- a great reliable card reader - none of those flimsy silly pins like other card readers

So far, works amazing.
Needed a cfast 2.0 reader for my c300MKii cards. There's not too many options out there and after a bit of a search I found Pixelflash, Delkin and Sandisk. All priced fairly close. What sold me? The fact that the card has to slide in a decent amount which helps to ensure correct alignment. The other 2, from what I could tell, were very shallow, thus increasing the chance for bent pins. This guy shows up on my mac super fast and has great transfer speeds. So far very happy!

good, but one inconvience
Great card reader for the price, just be aware you can not use the sister USB port when this reader is in, the body is too wide, copy the files and remove to plug in another device such as an external hard drive, CF card reader etc etc. I bought a hub, but found it easier to just download the CFast card, remove and continue.
