Smell is nice and clean and subtle and my skin feels great. Expensive but worth it.

This is a very nice if not exceptional body lotion. It goes on smoothly, it does not feel greasy, and it absorbs quickly--more quickly than most, actually. It's about average for hydration, which is fine, though I did get some very small bumps when using it on my arms. It claims to deal with dark spots, and I was amazed to discover that it did so, for a while anyway. The effect faded after a short while, but then so did some of the areas in a nasty patch of hyperpigmentation on my leg, and the area has remained clear so I figure that all in all that's a win. I then figured I'd try it on my face--the marketing material shows photos of it being applied to the face, though the text only calls it a body lotion--but it didn't do anything there. And really, it's too heavy for facial use, even though the lotion has a nice texture for the body. It has a slight scent which I can't really describe, but it is isn't strong or bothersome. (A note on the power of suggestion: When the product arrived I read the label as Luxe Mocha, and noted a slight but not sweet or annoying cocoa scent. Then I looked at it later with my glasses on and realized it was Luxe MAcha--and I never smelled cocoa again.) By the way, be aware that the dispenser, which is quite nice, is a beast: It's 8 1/2 " tall and a full 3" in diameter, which means it might be taking up a lot of very valuable bathroom real estate.
