The stand doesn't work but other than that it’s a beautiful ocarina and the book is really easy to read and understand. Even came with a little carrying case. Really good value for what your paying, 10/10 will suggest just maybe pay the few bucks extra for the better stand if you want to display as is

Beautiful ocarina. Beautiful tone. My Zelda player loves it and is picking up how to play it fast. The neck paint was not as bold as the advertisement pictures. The hand stand is difficult to use.

Great product first of all, beautiful and sounds nice. Though it was smaller than I thought, and it would be a lot easier to play if it were a little larger. But this is also subjective since everyone has different sized hands and mine are a little large for this. If they had an option for a larger version that would be nicer for someone like me. I've never played an instrument outside of the recorder in K-12, so the learning curve is more difficult for me to learn to play it. That is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars since the item shows pictures of finger placement on the holes, but does not recognize the musical notes by letter. This is both good and bad, good if you know how to read music and are a beginner looking to just play the songs that the book has, but bad if you eventually want to learn other songs on the instrument. Having said that, it is pretty easy to learn the songs in the book, but it takes a little practice with it. This is a great gift for any Zelda fan, even if they never play it, it makes a great display piece as it is very appeasing to the eye. The stand however, could be better as since both are the same material, there is some fraction and it can be tricky to get the item to sit up properly, so I would advice to have it rest on a wide surface with a towel beneath. It will take a little shake to have the Ocarina slip, and if it falls off someplace high, it can break.

So much fun to use and the song book that comes with it is great for beginners! You can plenty of free songs to learn online!

As soon as a saw it, I had to have it. Huge Legend of Zelda fan!

This ocarina looked pretty nice. There is a slight bend at the neck of it, but it still looked good and sounded alright. I felt like I could give it as a gift. But perhaps the slight bend is why it absolutely would NOT stay in the display stand at all. Or maybe that's not the reason, not sure. I even came back to the listing to look at the photos to see the couple different ways the display stand was supposed to be able to hold the ocarina, but it just wouldn't stay. It's disappointing, but with a piece of double stick tape, it will stay on the stand, at least for a while. Of course, if it is frequently used as an instrument, it will likely be in the case instead of on display, so that's alright. For display purposes, it's a bummer.

9-y-old dropped and broke within a week.

It's really cool and what I was looking for. Very nice quality and packaged really well. The book was not in the package and since it was gift I didn't have time to return and reorder so that was a little disappointing. However after leaving my initial review and stating the book was missing; the company reached out and offered a satisfactory resolution.

Notes are all off key.

Love it. Guide is easy to understand. Stand is nice and it comes with a case and string so you can wear it around your neck. Its thick and heavy, made with some type of pot. The holder is a myth though. There is now way of balancing the ocarina on the hand it comes with. A shame but still amazed
