This is a very reasonably priced weighted vest and I am very happy with the quality. I was worried about the smell after reading other reviews, but there is no chemical smell at all. I have hiked a total of about 20 miles with this vest, so far, and am very happy with the functionality of the vest. It is easy to adjust the fit. For carrying an extra 20lbs while walking the dog or taking a short hike, this vest is very comfortable. I only wear it on hikes less than 5 miles because there is no place to carry a water bottle. You need another bottle holder or something if you want to use this with a water bottle. Very happy with the vest...be sure to start with lower milage and work your way up...your body needs to get used to carrying the extra weight. Mine is the 20lb vest and the weight is very accurate.

I love this weighted vest. I'm 5'4 160 lbs and I lift weights regularly. I got the 25 lbs version so that my husband and I could both get some use out of it, it fits us both well. I use it mostly while doing low intensity cardio, walking, or line dancing. It helps to increase my heart rate and adds resistance to my activities. The product is made well and the clips are easy to use. The weight is evenly distributed throughout the best so it does not make me feel off balance. Super comfortable. I would absolutly get another weight or buy this one again.

I am a male, 6 ft 180 lbs, and I ordered the 25 lbs vest. Looking at the ads for these types of vests, it always looks like they are sized for females and could be small for males. I am glad to report that this vest fits me quite well and actually is a little loose on me. I would say that it would probably still fit me pretty well if I was back up at 220 lbs. The sides are an elastic that provide room for larger individuals to find a proper fit. I don't currently have much need for the elastic as the vest fits me with room to spare at my current size.The pros of the vest are that the material is comfortable and the weight filling the vest are extremely comfortable. The backpack style allows for quickly being able to put on and remove the vest which is quite useful for multi-exercise sets that include exercises which the vest might get in the way. The vest does not impede movements when standing upright and is great for leg exercises and pull-ups as well as any other exercise where you are keeping your shoulders pretty level with the floor.The cons are that I have found that the vest has a tendency to want to bounce when doing running or jumping exercises. I have tried strapping myself in as tightly as it allows but it still ends up loose enough that the vest still does bounce up and down. It also has a tendency to slide to whatever side you are leaning towards while doing side leaning exercises such as lawnmower pulls. None of these cons are really deal breakers and are just things that you can expect and work around/get used to with weighted vests in general.All in all, it is a good vest that does the job. I would recommend getting a slightly heavier weight than you might think you want as it cannot be adjusted and you may find yourself growing out of it sooner rather than later if you go too light if you are looking to get the most bang for your buck (but this is merely my subjective opinion).

Pristine and well-packaged. Beautiful, bright yellow color will make me very visible on my walks, which is what I was hoping, as I walk on the gravel and paved roads around my rural homestead, and the drivers aren't often very careful. Also, there's the DUST I choke on quite frequently, so bright colors are a must. ;)The vest is heavy and will take some getting used to. It is just the right amount of "difficult" for an "older model" woman trying to be pro-active in building back some muscle mass, core strength, and bone density. It isn't quite 10% of my body weight, but it is enough to be getting on with. It's an odd sensation, making me feel a little top-heavy and wobbly, which I think will be outstanding in re-training my core. My shoulders are held at a much better position when walking with this weight on them, and I found that my hands didn't swell as much. (I've suspected impingement in my shoulders for years.) This is like wearing a heavy backpack, only the weight is much better distributed. It still fired up all the little muscles between my ribs and up and down my back to wear it, and I had to stop and adjust it several times to stop the cramping. But after about a 30 minute walk (much shorter than my usual walk), the cramping stopped and I felt great. I am going to LOVE this thing!I also wore it during a short bout of bodyweight exercises to re-train my hip and hamstring muscles, and let me tell you, they were definitely "shouting" for joy after just five sets of 30 second reps! Boy, do I have my work cut out for me, getting back into any kind of shape. But I'm hopeful that this very functional and practical way to incorporate weights into my life again without having to pay for a gym membership or other expensive equipment will do the trick. Or at least help. And the fact that this beautiful, pristine vest was "used" and still came in the full package without a mark or dent or tear made it a great value for the money.The only thing that is a bit of a downer is the outrageously appalling stench of the thing, and the fact that it is not water-resistant or water-proof. Walking in the rain will be very impractical with this on, as it is too bulky to wear under a rain jacket, and the packaging cautions against getting it wet.Now, that seems kind of silly from a design standpoint, to make an item that is likely to get very sweaty during one's workout not resistant to moisture, to say nothing of what one could get up to while rucking. I love to trail walk. There are often streams or unexpected rainstorms or other things that could potentially get the vest wet, and it would be super nice if the manufacturer would address this design flaw. In order to increase the versatility of the product, it really should be water resistant, at the very least, and downright water proof to make it a banger of a product. The price point is wonderful and makes it accessible to most, but this one flaw might be a deal-breaker and deprive them of a sale, so this really needs to be addressed, in my opinion. :)I will push past the horrific stench, because I have great confidence that this item will be a valuable addition to my arsenal in the fight against age, loss of muscle mass, loss of bone density, and the battle of the meno-belly. It's kind of fun to wear (even if I have to leave the bottom strap so loose it literally does nothing because I don't want The Girls crushed beyond recognition), & a lovely color so I feel less like a Space Marine and more like a woman in the fight of her life to retain some semblance of fitness as she faces the big 6-0 approaching much faster than she is ready for! Good vest for push-ups. It stays out of the way so you can lower yourself properly, whereas other vests I’ve used take up that space. It stays on pretty well and doesn’t move around either. I’m definitely going to continue using this.The only con is that it gives off an unpleasant chemical odor. Even after soaking it in a soap bath, spraying it down, and letting it dry in the sun, the smell is still there. It must be the materials they use inside. Other than that, it’s a good vest for the price.

I decided I wanted a weighted vest and looked at all the options I could find. This one seemed like a good choice, so I got the 10 lb one. Very comfortable and well made. And when a family member came over a few weeks later and saw what I’d bought, he said I picked a really good one - that this one was weighted in just the right way and was a quality item (trust me, when this family member approves, it’s high praise!) I ended up getting a 15 lb one as well. I will say that you need to start slowly with a weighted vest. If you haven’t worn one before, go with a lighter one at first and get used to it. I know there’s a temptation to think you need to start at a high weight, but this is not the time to over exert. The 15 lb was too much, too soon. I found that I was better staying with the 10 a bit longer. But whatever weight you end up with, I think this is a quality item that fits well, adjusts as needed and is something that will do exactly what you’re looking for.

Giving five stars per the weighted vest. I have used this vest many many times since ordering it about a month ago. This item comes in handy on days that I just don’t want to make it over to the gym and would much rather walk. My walks are typically outside and always about an hour and prior to getting the vest I would rarely sweat, but since wearing the vest on my hour long walks, I am finding that I am sweating very quickly and are able to feel a workout in my lower body, especially for days after. This vest is such a perfect addition to my walks and eventually I hope to get into jogging and plan on working my way up to using the vest then as well. Highly recommend to others on purchasing this vest as it comes in a bunch of awesome colors, I chose pink to match my fanny pack when walking as well as my ankle weights. The vest has a few front and back pockets and some loops around the front to hook a light water bottle with a carabiner or things of that nature to keep close to you on your walk as well and to let you be hands-free.

I was very skeptical about buying this at first, but I absolutely love it! As a woman, I was worried about how it would fit around my chest, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s adjustable and very comfortable to wear. You definitely get your money’s worth with this product. It is definitely 30 pounds — I feel every bit of it when I’m walking lol! Mine didn’t come with any pockets, but that honestly didn’t bother me at all.

J'ai acheté cette veste lestée (15 lbs) pour m'entraîner dans un sport de raquette : la veste lestée ne nuit PAS aux mouvements de l'épaule avec la raquette, même sur un terrain de sport. La veste ne couvre pas toute la hauteur du tronc (comme le ferait un sac à dos) : elle couvre plutôt la portion haute du tronc, mais laisse les bras complètement libres. Globalement, excellente répartition du poids, ajustement sur les épaules et confortable : très bon achat.

To be honest i bought this on sale .... but i would pay full price if it wasnt!!!! Had others try it on ranging weights of 280lbs to 190lbsAnd it fit everyone with the adustable straps and they ordered some as well after trying mine. ***The comfort is amazing!!!!**** i love wearing it throughout the day. I really am not a gym person or someone who runs nowhere(lol bless your heart if you do) this i can def do and not feel like im working out!!!

Got the 10lb for walk. Not to heavy and does the job. Like the little pouch at the back. I wear a little higher in the front and lower at the back due to chest size and strap.

Comfortable. Smell isnt so bad. Not too heavy so I could wear a whole day.
