Maynard Bassetts jelly babies. good sized box as seen in my photo, standing 19cm tall. the box is approximately 3/4 full with jelly babies. this is the 5th box ive purchased now, they make for great gifts and even better to eat yourself! each jelly babies colour has its own unique flavour. they are soft with a slight chew. overall great value for money and I would highly recommend them

Maynards Bassetts Jelly Babies are definitely the best jelly babies I’ve ever tasted. Almost every other pack of jelly babies are overly sugary (& not in a tasty way)!! Other kinds never taste as good quality. I used to buy them as a treat or to gift as a stocking filler at Christmas time, but now I buy them to take 1… or 2 if I’m feeling cheeky, right after taking my medication because that tastes bitter & the horrible taste (from the medicine) stays a while after taking unless I take a jelly baby or 2 immediately after!! It’s the old saying "a spoon full of sugar, helps the medicine go down" kinda thing. The best part is… it works a treat!! I haven’t found another sweet or way to take the bitter taste away so quickly!! It’s not so helpful around my tummy though!! lol Some of my family members have taken to buying these Jelly Babies as a gift for my birthdays, Christmas & even Mother’s Day, it’s fantastic! The only downside is the price, & why I’ve dropped a star… The cost of the jelly babies have (like almost everything these days), fluctuated so much to the point where they can be very expensive. For example, I bought them at a really reasonable price Last month (December 2025) when a 350g box was under £3, then a month later (January 2026), they have increased to £4.47. I sometimes dread to think how much the cost will rise to, because I have paid over £5 for the same 350g box over the past few years. Why can’t things stay the same price until April each year, when it becomes the new tax year & we expect the cost of living to go up a bit?? As it is, almost everything fluctuates up a lot, down a little, then back up a lot again continually throughout each year with no set price for anything any more!? Sorry rant over!!

I am not just saying this but the jelly babies from Amazon taste gawjess much nicer than any other place I have bought them from top jelly babies at Amazon beautiful
