Best yeast for home-brew.....
I always use this yeast - it's quick to ferment, leaves a solid cake and has never let me down.

My standard back-up yeast and for Bitters. Never a problem with Notty.

Slightly overpriced but did the job
Arguably slightly overpriced however provided high flocculation and suited the american single hop pale ale well. Too much yeast for smaller home brews (such as one gallon carboys) but just use less.
