No not at all. I am very crazy about weight gain. Actually it was my gynecologist that told me to take this for hair loss.

You can never be 100% sure about the wording on these labels, but my guess is the 500 mg of saw palmetto per capsule breaks down this way: 25% (or 125 mg) is in the form of an extract, while the remaining 375 mg is powder.

Because it has rice powder and gelatin, how many carbs per serving?

If it's not on the label, I couldn't be sure. On the other hand, if the contents of the capsule were only rice powder, each capsule might hold 1/4 teaspoon or less, so carbs would be negligible. And gelatin has no carbs...

The ingredients have gelatin (bovine) which is from cow. So it’s definitely not vegan.
