If you need something that looks professional but fits in a smaller space, these are a great choice. Feature What to Look For / Test Material Weight Since these are listed as metal, do they have a satisfying "heft," or do they feel like lightweight alloy? Finish Quality Check for any chipping or "pitting" in the gold/silver finish. Is it a high-shine mirror finish or more of a matte look? Base Stability Is the base wide enough to prevent the trophy from tipping over easily on a shelf or trophy case? Scale & Size "Mini" can be subjective. Note if it’s the size of a coffee mug or more like a large keychain to help other buyers gauge the scale.

Ordering this trophy was partly my fault as I only paid attention to the photos showing the trophy sitting on a desk or beside a photo frame. Those photos are highly misleading for folks that are searching for trophies to use in kids programs. I didn’t pay attention to the photo which showed its true dimensions as slightly less than two inches tall. I needed a trophy that was at least 6 inches tall for summer reading program at the library. However, I will keep the trophy for the 1:6 inch scale dollhouse I am re-decorating for my grandkids to play with. Yay, Ken and Barbie, you won a trophy!

Who doesn’t love a trophy! I got this one for a little family competition because it is small and looked great. I am pleased with it. First, it is appropriately heavy in the hand for its small size. Next, the trophy is silver and shiny. Finally, it stands up well and does not tip over easily. This little trophy is a good value and is a quality trophy at a miniature size. It appears to me to be very durable and shouldn’t tarnish. Sometimes everyone wants a trophy and this little one is perfect for my needs without taking up a lot of space.
