good for money, not great quality but gets the job done
these had a slight learning curve for me, mainly learning you need to pull your hair very tight and use extra hair ties to secure it around. also you want to put it as close to the front of your head as possible. i hate using heat on myhair and am very incompetent with hair tools but after my most recent trim and blow out / soft curl, i knew i needed to do something! i have been using this for heartless curls for weeks and i love the results. i have thick hair that takes a long time to dry and have noticed when i use this with damp hair, my hair tends to stay wet for the whole night or about 8 hours during day, resulting in less defined and less staying curls. instead it works great with dry hair just over night. adding a good hair cream (i’m currently using olaplex no 6) helps this look like a blow out vs nice hair with frizz. simply apply hair cream, put this in your hair, sleep, pull it out, quick brush and you’re ready to go. i like to use a little textured hair spray on the top sections too to help with volumei took off one star because within the first 3 uses, the sewing on one of the bottoms of the silk wrapped around the foam / rod became undone

Very slippery
You definitely need to have longer hair to get the best results with this. I also recommend doing it with wet hair or spray textured hair. If your hair is clean and fine, it will slip off this thing pretty fast. I like it though. If you are looking for a looser wave, you will like this. I’m not a fan of sleeping with it because it’s uncomfortable but it can be done. Works decent though. I would recommend.

OK to use during the day but wouldn't suggest trying to sleep with them in
I prefer heatless methods of fixing/curling my hair so I was really excited to try these out. I now have shoulder length hair with a few crazy, non-intentional layers in it so I knew these might be a challenge to use. I had a hard time making room on my head for all of the rollers as they are pretty bulky and my hair isn't long enough to stack the rollers on top of each other. I did get some curl out of it but it was very haphazard. I think these would work best for someone with long and or thick hair. They really are comfortable and probably would have worked great if my hair was longer or not so fine.

A little difficult for thick hair
My daughter has a LOT of hair and it is pretty long. This was diffictult for her to manipulate with her hair to get any results. I think if your hair was just past your shoulders, you would have better luck.

A bit challenging to use...
It is a bit challenging to use on my hairtype since my hair is already somewhat curly, but I wanted to try to use this product to make nice uniformed curls. It does not work well with my medium length hair and the curls always turn out wonky for me. It may just be user error, so you definitely need to practice putting this on. Since the roller is satin, my hair easily slips out of shape.

Loose pretty curls
I love the idea of having curls without having to do it with hot tools. The curling rod headband does take a bit of practice but is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Sleeping in it may not be an option for some if you are a restless sleeper tossing and turning a lot, which can cause it to come undone and create more work for getting ready in the morning. This also works very well with towel-dried damp hair and a blowdryer. The curling rod along with the accessories is a very pretty set.

Loose curls
Before I used the heatless curler set, I put a leave-in conditioner in my damp hair. It worked much better once I realized that I should bend the sides up so the rod didn't touch my shoulders. It's a great option for a different style, but I would only use it overnight if you plan to sleep on your back. The curls were nice and loose for me.
