Easy set up.
Set up was easy. Just plug the cords and switch the hdmi input and it worked. The only thing is a low buzzing when it’s plugged in. However when a movie is being watched it is not audible.

Worked flawlessly connecting my old DVD player to a modern TV with HDMI.
I have an old Sony DVD player which I needed to connect into an HDMI port on my TV. This product worked perfectly and I am able to watch DVDs on my modern television. It’s not gonna be 4K, but the sound, picture quality, and compatibility works perfectly. I did not have any lagging. So if you have such a need, I would recommend this product.

Great fix to watch old cam corder dvr videos to tv
This worked great for my Cannon zr45. I dont use this camera anymore but I had multiple hours of family videos on its cassettes that I could watch because I could not connect the fire wire or rca plugs to my tv. The zr45 firewire is not hdmi compatible but the rca plugs are a possible option with the Ablewe mini. The zr45 works in both 720 or 1080 for me, and goes to the tv for viewing. We spent the rest of the day enjoying 25 year old videos. Thanks for the switch! 😉

Good Quality AV to HDMI Converter
Works great for my Wii. The picture quality isn’t perfect, but that’s probably because my setup is close to my monitor. The sound quality is good, so, overall, it was definitely worth it to get this item.

Great for nostalgia
This was my second time purchasing. Somehow lost the first during a move. It works great, as expected. We use it for a VCR/DVD combo player and it keeps the visual of the tape without enhancement which is what we wanted. It always works! Never has a tracking or signal issue.

A nice alternative to have...
With new tv's eliminating the old connections with composite and rca plugs this became necessary to buy to keep using my old dvd and vcr players using this. My old Samsung tv is 15 years old and still an amazing picture but bought the new one for all the streaming apps I enjoy. I recently bought a digital converter to use with my old vcr player to convert my decades old tapes using rca connections so this works great for it. Still very new so time will tell how the product holds up but quite happy with it so far.
