LavaLamp - 14.5" Deep Ocean - The Original Motion Light - Yellow/Green Wax and Blue Liquid - Item #2634 (Amazon Exclusive)

I didn't know that it should not be run without a break. I loved and enjoyed so much but I ended up ruining it. This is the second one just like the first one. They are both alike. I love the purple and red combination. It is so relaxing to watch. I have it placed where I can see it so I can look at it whenever l want.

I bought this to replace a Lava Lamp of the same color that was about 15 years old and starting to fade. Unfortunately the new ones have really decreased in quality. The fluid in the lamp I received was very cloudy and the wax looked fuzzy. Also when the wax softened after it warmed it became a bunch of little balls that stayed up at the top of the lamp and didn't flow up and down. I returned it and ordered a replacement lamp of the same color, purple fluid and yellow wax. The replacement was exactly the same with cloudy fluid and little balls of wax staying up at the top after the lamp warmed up. Other reviewers have reported the same issues. I regret I didn't go by their reviews. I did try the suggestions offered by the manufacturer to clear up the fluid which were not successful on either of the lamps I tried. I wish Lava Lamp would go back to their previous manufacturer as those lamps were high quality and lasted for years. There are so many similar complaints like mine that Amazon should pay attention to. Does nobody other than customers read these reviews? Fortunately Amazon refunded my purchase. If I could give it no stars I would have but Amazon does not allow that. I do not recommend this lava lamp.

Very easy to assemble and it looks great. The colors are vibrant and look really cool. It lets off a nice green color in the room but doesn't make it blinding. The base does get warm to touch but nothing too bad.

Love my lamp. Arrived totally clear and ready to plug in. I do find that the heating coil gets too hot so I purchased a dimmer switch to avoid getting small balls of wax. Dimming it just a bit gives you the true "lava" look.

The first lava lamp I ordered was too cloudy to see the wax but now I got a replacement and it looks very good

Not the best lava lamp ever, but I love the colors and think it is soooo fun!

This was a birthday gift and I'm very disappointed!!! The original box was beat up and worn out. The glass is extremely foggy and we can't see anything through it. We put it together and turned it on but 20 minutes later the bulb blowed. We found another bulb for it and left it on all day but it's still foggy. All the lava is stuck at the top I think but it's hard to tell because we can't see anything through the glass. It looks bad and definitely not worth the money. Now I have to find another birthday gift for the recipient. Wasted my time, money, and girlfriends birthday. She has been wanting a new lava lamp for months. This is a name brand lava lamp and there's no excuse for this quality.

Not even close. Bought one with blue liquid and green wax. Got one with green liquid and yellow wax. Which is a combo they don’t even offer. Wtf. Thumbs down.
