I use this robot in my warehouse. The best note about this robot vacuum is that it has significantly reduced the amount of dirt and dust in here. Dramatically reduced. That in itself makes this worth the purchase and I don't regret purchasing it at all. They also have great customer service! Before I purchased it I reached out to Roborok to make sure that it would be fine to use in my warehouse and would work with all the lights off after everyone has left. It vacuums and mops while everyone is gone and is done by the morning when everyone has returned. But it isn't without issues. - Stuck - there was a learning curve in the beginning to getting it to clean the whole night without getting stuck or something stuck in its roller brush. This meant not leaving pallets down on the floor (it tries to squeeze underneath/through the openings), or blocking places it could get stuck in. The "No Go" zones and walls are helpful, but I'll say more on that below. - Map issue #1 - It wouldn't map the whole space. I checked the range for the robot and saw it could mop 4305sqft of area and assumed it would get my whole sub 3ksqft of space, but it would stop about 4/5 of the space and call it the whole area. I tried placing it at the opposite end and had the same issue. - Map issue #2 - once in a while it just loses its map or moves the dock to another location on the map. This is frustrating because it takes some fine tuning to set "No Go" zones and set up different sections. This is all lost if that happens. This could be fixed by software updates I assume. - No Go Zones - sometimes the vacuum will get stuck in a "No Go" zone because it'll find itself in there and then say it can't get out because it's a "No Go" zone. My solution was setting up larger boundaries so it couldn't squeeze into an area near one of these zones. - Cliff detection - We have a slight ramp at our entrance, but the vacuum was getting stuck on the sides of it. I ended up setting thin "No Go" zones over the edges to keep it away, but I was hoping it could figure this out on its own. - Mop - This isn't a deep cleaning mop. It's not gonna scrub. It's good at maintaining cleanliness, but you should get your floors cleaned and then this will maintain that. - Clogging - The vent in the dock that takes the dirt from the vacuum to the dust bag clogs. This seems to only be an issue due to large pieces getting caught in there (there are two 90 degree turns), but it wouldn't know there was an issue and the vacuum would just stop picking up dirt because the bin was full and not emptying. Overall I would def recommend this vacuum/mop, especially if you have ways to mitigate some of its short comings.

Love the battery life. After 40 minutes on the highest vacuum setting while mopping with medium water output, it still has >70% battery life. It does great as a dry vacuum, very decent as a mop and is quiet enough to run all night without waking me. It gets under most of our furniture, all our beds, and places I never dreamed. It washes the mop extremely well, refills the water tank, drains the dirty water, empties the dust bin, then dries the mopping pads when the job is complete. Does it all for a fraction of the cost of similar units. UPDATE: This thing is AMAZING! Nearly zero babysitting and our floors have never been more clean. We own an Ecovac, Roborock Q8 Max and Roborock S7 as well. They all do well in picking up dirt and dog hair from our hardwood floors but they have to be constantly babysat by adding water to the tanks, changing mopping pads, etc, but the Q Revo needs maybe once weekly emptying of the dirty water and refill of clean water/detergent combo tanks and monthly bag & mop pad changing. It’s so quiet in Turbo vac mode we can watch TV and not be disturbed, but all of the others listed are annoying unless on Balanced. I use a little Castile soap in the tank at home. I ordered 6 Q Revo units for my 4k sqft dental practice with vinyl hardwood-looking industrial floors. At lunch, they all clean their respective areas with hypochlorous acid so the floors are clean & disinfected for the afternoon. At 5:30pm, they all begin to clean their programmed areas with 3 complete passes and work throughout the night. They are set to wash the mops and refill the water/hypochlourous acid as often as possible, I believe every 20 minutes of mopping. In a decade of the staff having to sweep & mop twice daily plus a cleaning service 2 times per week, the floors NEVER looked this good and the office never smelled so fresh. We do still have the cleaning service sweep & mop hard to reach areas, but it only takes minutes, freeing them up to deep clean the office, such as better dusting, wiping window sills etc bc so much of their time was previously spent on the floors. I have had a single unit get tangled up in a cord the staff forgot to tuck away at days end and not finish its area. Idk if the hypochlourous acid will negatively affect the units in time but so far so good. I have swabbed the floors with sterile Q-tips & tried to grow bacteria on various agars in an incubator with ZERO growth! The floors are essentially sterile, but technically considered hi-level disinfected. Time will tell how long they last, but for the past 6 weeks they have been near flawless. I can’t recommend these units enough!

The Q Revo’s design is faulty. The suction power from the vacuum to the emptying bag is not powerful enough for dog dander and some dead grass! I finally reported the problem to support after 1 year because I was tired of having to manually empty the vacuum and dig out the blockage every couple of days. They had send the whole unit to them to service and they sent back the unit saying it was fixed. 2 months later it was still getting accumulating blockages every 2 to 3 empties and not emptying the vacuum again. After two years, the mopping function was not working and there was a water outlet blockage error. I did everything to troubleshoot with no luck. Of course it’s out of warranty now and we’ll have to pay to get it serviced. The suction power of the vacuum is not that great. Tile floors it picks up good but with standard rugs it could be much better. The mopping system cleans but if you have really dirty floors the washing cycles just can’t rinse the mop good enough between washes. After paying $760 for a vacuum I expect to not have this many issues. Very disappointed in Roborock. Downgraded further to 1 star. If we could rate negative we would. We had a neato for nearly 5+ years and it worked like a champ. Now thing can’t even complete a cycle without dying in middle of room, doesn’t even make it back to base. What a rip off and horrible product!!!!

As a first-time robot vacuum user, I meticulously researched and deliberated over several models before settling on the Roborock Q Revo, thanks largely to the reviews on YouTube from a page called Vacuum Wars, I highly recommend it. While I can't definitively say it's the absolute best, I believe it offers the best value for the money. It's worth noting that shortly after I bought it for $679, the Ecovacs T20 Omni dropped to $699, leaving me unsure if I snagged the best deal, but both seem excellent in their price range. Let's talk setup. Unboxing and assembling the Q Revo took about 15 minutes, and connecting it to my iPhone through the app was a straightforward process no different than any other app. Opting for quick mapping, the Q Revo efficiently roamed my home. To ensure accurate floor mapping, I scurried around, picking up chairs and other items I didn't want the robot to navigate around. The mapping process was quick, providing me with a detailed 900 square foot cleaning surface map. After deliberately closing off certain rooms, I used the app to edit the floor plan, creating and naming rooms, and adding furniture. This process took about 15 minutes, resulting in a really cool personalized and detailed home map. First cleaning run. On its maiden voyage, I selected whole-home vacuum and mopping via the app, and the Q Revo effortlessly started its cleaning journey. I monitored its progress in real-time through the app, I really like the detailed map showcasing its movements. At the 20-minute mark, I received an app alert about a jammed roller. Investigating, I found a small plastic trinket that my granddaughter dropped, it had sucked up. After clearing the obstruction, I hit continue, and it seamlessly resumed. Covering a newly revised footage of 872 square feet, the entire process took 85 minutes. It only encountered one snag on a bathroom floor mat after that, but a quick intervention resolved the issue. Performance. Regarding cleaning performance, I used plain water since I lacked a cleaning solution. While my house was already relatively clean, the Q Revo impressed on a challenging kitchen floor with crumbs and smudges from the past two days. Even without a cleaning solution, it tackled the mess better than I anticipated. Conclusion. My initial impression after a single run is that the Roborock Q Revo is worth every bit of $679. I'll continually update this review as I delve deeper into its capabilities. My only gripe thus far is the necessity to purchase their cleaning solution, which isn't available at my regular shopping spots. I've heard about alternatives like Mr. Clean Multi-Surface Cleaner or Bona products on Reddit and Facebook, but I'll conduct further research before considering any switch.

If the docking issue can be addressed in future updates, this robot mopping vacuum would undoubtedly earn a perfect five-star rating. Was able to snag this great robot vacuum on sale during Prime day. The price was really unbeatable as it did almost everything as well as my 2 weeks old Ecovacs T20 Omni. I loved almost everything that the Q Revo has to offer and actually prefer it over my T20 Omni. Pros: - Best price for the most featured robot vacuum. Q Revo was on sale during Prime day for $700. The next competitive priced robot vacuum with similar features and performance was Ecovacs T20 Omni that I got it on sale for $1,000. - Great quiet power vacuum suction. Surprisingly, I found Q Revo quieter than my T20 Omni when both were set to max suction power. With only 500 Pa difference in suction power, it still vacuumed my carpet and rugs effectively well. Another great thing about Q Revo is that it would vacuum without any issues over my black stripped dining rug. My T20 was not able to do this and it would frequently get stuck between the lines. - Dual spinning wet mops to clean my spacious tiled living room, kitchen, dining room, and foyer. Very identical to T20 Omni as it rinses and washes the mops frequently during cleaning. The only difference compared to T20 is that it does not use heated hot/warm water during mopping. - Auto lift wet mops during vacuum over carpet and rugs. The clearance between the raised mops on carpet was near identical to T20. - Size of Q Revo robot vacuum is slightly shorter and slimmer compared to T20. This made it more efficient in going underneath tight spaces and clean more areas. My T20 would just bump off of my shoe rack, but Q Revo had enough clearance to go underneath it. It also went in-between my dining chair legs more efficiently. It might be slightly less coverage in one go compared to T20, but I prefer the mobility of smaller size to reach tighter spaces for cleaning efficiency. - Overall size of the docking station takes up less space compared to the bulkier T20 Omni. - Removable washable dock tray. This is a big plus compared to T20. T20 tray cannot be removed from its dock station, so I would have to bend down and scrub the tray deep inside. These trays get messy very quick due to frequent mop rinsing. The black color in Q Revo makes the leftover smudges less noticeable compared to the white T20 that really stands out whenever it leaves the dock station. - Slightly larger water tanks in dock station compared to T20 Omni. Q Revo has a small water compartment tank inside the robot vacuum, so it could have more lasting wet mops before having to return to the dock station to re-rinse the mops. - Large battery capacity, which lasted almost 3 hours (maybe 2 hour 45 min). It had similar long-lasting battery performance as T20 Omni. - More responsive app compared to Ecovac sluggish stalling app. Both apps were identical with many features, but I did find Roborock to be less of hassle in dealing with the app. Cons - The object avoidance detection for black object is near nonexistent. I have a surround sound system that have black glass stand for the rear speakers, but Q Revo would generally run over the black base stand. The wheel would run over it and not clean well around the area. This wouldn't be an issue with my black stripped rug, but wish it could detect the stand to go around it. - Only one side spinning brush compared to two spinning brushes on other premium robot vacuum. I'm not really sure if this garners as a real bad con as it still cleaned effectively well compared to my T20 Omni.

I did have a robot vacuum prior to this purchase but it didn't come close to the features and performance the Roborock Q Revo delivers. A couple of things I didn't like about the old robot is it didn't mop or have a self-emptying dock. The Q Revo robot was very easy to set up and only took about 10 minutes to get it completely ready. Once fully charged I performed the quick mapping run which made a map of my 2200 square foot house in only 12 minutes. Following a full charge, I turned it loose again. During the cleaning process it returned to the dock 5 times to empty the dirty water mop tank, clean the mop heads, and refill it with clean water. In every case it returned back to exactly the same spot where it left off to resume cleaning. It vacuumed and mopped 1400 square feet of floor area before returning to the dock to recharge. Once charging reached 80% it returned where it left off and finished the job. Once finished it made its final return to the dock where it emptied the dust bin, dirty water container, dried the mop heads and added clean water to the robot. It made a very detailed map of the house showing every track the machine took, divided the house into rooms, and even identified where it mopped and where it vacuumed. It did all this without getting stuck anywhere. Equally impressive is the application. Once you have a map you can add no go zones, invisible walls, identify floor type (hard surface or carpet), split rooms into separate rooms, merge multiple rooms into one and just about anything else you want to do to make the next cleaning more efficient. After you organize the map to your liking you can have the machine mop only, vacuum only, clean certain rooms or spots you identify on the map, and it will only clean those areas. Another thing worth mentioning is that the vacuum part of the machine is just in front of the mop heads, so it vacuums hard surfaces and mops all in one pass. On the very first complete house cleaning the robot was able to identify every hard surface from every carpet area and it never once made a mistake in doing that, so I didn't find it necessary to reidentify surface types for each area on the map. This robot performed effortlessly with no intervention by me. In summary, I had hopeful expectations prior to my purchase and the performance of this robot exceeded all of them. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could, and I am very happy with my purchase.

If I could do it all over again I'd get the robot vacuum that disposes of dirty water and grabs clean water for you - no tank. But I live in an apartment and I can't drill into the wall, so this is pretty awesome. App could be better but boy this cleans well (assuming you use it daily). If you don't use it daily, some of the dust and grime will compound on the floor. It is pretty noisy but I usually let it run before I run an errand. Good suction too, it's fun to be able to get my robot to clean up instead of me. Very mobile - if there is an issue then it can auto correct itself after some manual intervention.

UPDATE: I recently read the new york times wirecutter review that said the QRevo and other robot mop vaccum combos are not worth it. Since comments on Wirecutter are disabled, I came here to strongly disagree with the nytimes Wirecutter review. We have been running the QRevo every day for the last 8 months. Our hardwood floors have never looked better. The carpet in the family room has never been so well maintained. We have a complicated floor plan with 5 rooms, 2 dining room tables bar stools, hardwood, tile and area rugs. Our main purchase goal was mopping and maintaining the large amount of hardwood. We had a irobot series 9 from costco vacuuming this floor and it would often not make it back to the base. Are the QRevo's small spinning mops adequate to mop up a big spill? No! Your child left sticky candy on the floor? Get a paper towel and wipe it up. These units are not designed to clean up your minor disasters in the kitchen. The QRevo does a great job of cleaning pet hair, dirt, shoe and pet track marks, minor grease marks and the bits of debris that accumulate in a busy kitchen. To get the same result manually, we would sweep the main floor, get out the bona and the bona mop, spray and mop the whole floor, move and replace 9 chairs, go around with a cloth and spot clean the many spots on the floor that the bona mop did not get clean, wipe down the thick floor mats at the sink and counter by hand, and vacuum area rugs and floor mats. Easily 90 minutes of labour. So we did this every week or three when the floors got bad. Now all of those activities are completed daily by the QRevo and the only effort required is emptying and filling the water tanks and occasionally washing the bottom tray. The wirecutter reviews are wrong. The QRevo has been a major time saver. Is it perfect? No, it still will try to vaccum up the cat toy on a string or loose shoe laces, but our roomba did the same. Still highly recommended! The Qrevo is doing an amazing job! Our floors are clean, shiny and area carpets are very well vacuumed. We only use water, no cleaning solution. The Qrevo is much much quieter than the roomba. Its navigation and object detection is amazing compared to older roombas. It has speech alerts to inform us when water needs to be changed. It needs FAR LESS maintenance then the roomba vacuum. I was hesitant about the price, but if the qrevo has the longevity of the roomba it will be well worth the price. It doesn't look like we will have to pull out the manual dyson vacuum for the carpet and the bona mop for the floor.

Pros: - Solid build quality all around. The robot vacuum itself has a really nice heft to it. - Easy to set up with the included quick start instructions - Accurate LIDAR based room mapping. - Love the convenience of the dock, makes set up and maintenance way easier compared to dockless robot vacuums - Does an excellent job cleaning, and allows you to clean much more consistently as well - Fairly quiet considering the overall performance Cons: - None really Overall: My wife and I have ben incredibly happy with this robot vacuum from Roborock. We were a bit hesitant to invest so much in a robot vacuum but after using it, we're honestly so glad we did. This is well made with a solid feel all around. Set up is quick and easy. The mapping is very quick and accurate as well. Once you have your room mapped out, you can set up no go zones easily. The dual mop and vacuuming functionality works great. This is able to lift the mop when going over carpeted areas, so you won't need to run this twice to get your space both vacuumed and mopped if you have carpets. The dock takes all of the annoying upkeep out of the mopping process since this will self clean and dry as well - you just need to empty the dirty water tank and fill the clean water tank every few weeks depending on how often you use this. Overall my wife and I have been so happy with this. Compared to our dockless vacuum/mop combo, this requires a lot less maintenance and up keep since the dock does most of the work for you. Overall a worthy investment. 100% would recommend.
