Best Price to Performance Robot Vaccum
Was able to snag this great robot vacuum on sale during Prime day. The price was really unbeatable as it did almost everything as well as my 2 weeks old Ecovacs T20 Omni. I loved almost everything that the Q Revo has to offer and actually prefer it over my T20 Omni. Pros: - Best price for the most featured robot vacuum. Q Revo was on sale during Prime day for $700. The next competitive priced robot vacuum with similar features and performance was Ecovacs T20 Omni that I got it on sale for $1,000. - Great quiet power vacuum suction. Surprisingly, I found Q Revo quieter than my T20 Omni when both were set to max suction power. With only 500 Pa difference in suction power, it still vacuumed my carpet and rugs effectively well. Another great thing about Q Revo is that it would vacuum without any issues over my black stripped dining rug. My T20 was not able to do this and it would frequently get stuck between the lines. - Dual spinning wet mops to clean my spacious tiled living room, kitchen, dining room, and foyer. Very identical to T20 Omni as it rinses and washes the mops frequently during cleaning. The only difference compared to T20 is that it does not use heated hot/warm water during mopping. - Auto lift wet mops during vacuum over carpet and rugs. The clearance between the raised mops on carpet was near identical to T20. - Size of Q Revo robot vacuum is slightly shorter and slimmer compared to T20. This made it more efficient in going underneath tight spaces and clean more areas. My T20 would just bump off of my shoe rack, but Q Revo had enough clearance to go underneath it. It also went in-between my dining chair legs more efficiently. It might be slightly less coverage in one go compared to T20, but I prefer the mobility of smaller size to reach tighter spaces for cleaning efficiency. - Overall size of the docking station takes up less space compared to the bulkier T20 Omni. - Removable washable dock tray. This is a big plus compared to T20. T20 tray cannot be removed from its dock station, so I would have to bend down and scrub the tray deep inside. These trays get messy very quick due to frequent mop rinsing. The black color in Q Revo makes the leftover smudges less noticeable compared to the white T20 that really stands out whenever it leaves the dock station. - Slightly larger water tanks in dock station compared to T20 Omni. Q Revo has a small water compartment tank inside the robot vacuum, so it could have more lasting wet mops before having to return to the dock station to re-rinse the mops. - Large battery capacity, which lasted almost 3 hours (maybe 2 hour 45 min). It had similar long-lasting battery performance as T20 Omni. - More responsive app compared to Ecovac sluggish stalling app. Both apps were identical with many features, but I did find Roborock to be less of hassle in dealing with the app. Cons - The object avoidance detection for black object is near nonexistent. I have a surround sound system that have black glass stand for the rear speakers, but Q Revo would generally run over the black base stand. The wheel would run over it and not clean well around the area. This wouldn't be an issue with my black stripped rug, but wish it could detect the stand to go around it. - Only one side spinning brush compared to two spinning brushes on other premium robot vacuum. I'm not really sure if this garners as a real bad con as it still cleaned effectively well compared to my T20 Omni.

Rocky -roborock vacuum/mop
Ive had “Rocky” Roborock qrevo vacuum and mop for 2 years now, it vacuums 6 days a week and mops 2 of those days. This little machine works like a champ still! My biggest problem is that I forget to refill the clean water bin and empty the dirty water bin, but thats me not Rocky. I can have it do a room twice or the all the areas i have selected to clean, also can send rocky to do a specific room or even just an area that needs attention. Any problems that may arise, the roborock app will pop up and tell you exactly what the issue is and how to resolve it. The mop heads are machine washable a couple times before needing replacement. All replacement parts are easily found on amazon and for a great price. Roborock “Rocky” is my second robo vacuum and i truly love it. It does a great job, is fairly quiet and doesn't constantly smash around on my walls or furniture like my first robo vacuum. 😃 Thank you Roborock for a quality product. I do share my story with friends and neighbors often. The price for a new one is much less then the “name brands” and is well worth it! I give “Rocky” 10 stars!

Does not last, avoid
Very disappointing quality over time. I use this for a single floor, under 2k sqft. Runs daily, 2 days doing vac and mop. Clean the unit once or twice a week. Have 2 dogs and 2 cats, so there's plenty to grab daily, no matter if we follow the critters around. Starting out, the vac worked really well. Mop worked good, normal cleaning kept up. Experimented with the suction power, water flow and zoning to force the bin to empty more often as it easily gets clogged. Within the first year, started getting the sensor errors and the vac becomes completely useless. Was able to send in for repairs easily enough, although the support is a little silly. They want you to video the vac having problems. Around 3w turnaround time and got the same unit back. Looked like they may have replaced a couple of the sensors. You can't take them out to clean yourself. Vac worked for about a month and then sensor errors again. So it's a 13 month old heap of plastic with no value now. Could not recommend this unless you basically already have a spotless house. Maybe for people without pets it works better. The app, while it does work, needs so much work. Confusing interface, especially setting up jobs and schedules. No options to adjust the sensors. No options to dump the bin except on a per room/zone basis. If you have a large area, you have to break things down into zones, each being a separate job, so it will think its completed something and dump. Design opens itself to get dirty very easily. Why make a vac that has so many indentations, open wheels and places all over the bottom for crap to collect? Apparently someone in marketing thought looks matter more than function. Ideally a vac is solid, with no crooks and crannies for hair/dust to accumulate. Very poor design not thought out. Not bothering with a replacement or repair this time as it appears this brand just can't last. Had a rumba previously that software support ended on (geez, now our vac is like a phone that stops getting support), so was fed up with them. Although the vac itself still mostly works after 6 years. Guess its hard to beat a regular old broom and mop, especially considering what you pay for this type of device.

Feels like a 10 year technology jump
My first robot vacuum was the Neato Botvac Connected. When that died I switched over to iRobot, thinking I was buying the cream of the crop in robots. They invented the segment. Those were the most horrific, frustrating robots on the planet, and they are what I'll be comparing the Q Revo to. The Q Revo feels like a 10 year jump in technology compared to my old S9+ and M6 duo. Setup was a breeze. Snap the "runway" onto the dock, followed the instructions and it immediately connected to my Wi-Fi with zero drama. The Roborock is easily half the volume of the S9. Even on its max setting, you can comfortably watch TV or have a conversation. Where the S9 was like a tiny 747 taxiing around your house, the Q Revo is comparatively silent. So quiet, I thought it was broken at first. The video in this review is the robot in "balanced" mode. The mapping capabilities are incredible. It took me DAYS to map my house with the iR gear, and they had to be mapped separately. The mop wouldn't traverse thresholds and lacked carpet detection, I modified the thresholds to make it happy and it still fought me every now and then. The robots slowly mapped, each on their own, until finally, days later, we got usable (but ugly) maps out of both of them. The Q Revo created a gorgeous map of my 2,000+sqft house IN FIFTEEN MINUTES. And you could watch it build the map, live in the app. The map can be switched from 3D to 2D, and when it's done you have the option to add furniture, floor type, and direction of flooring so it never mops against the grain. Thanks to Lidar instead of a vision based camera system, the robot can run in complete darkness. No more leaving lights on when I leave so my vacuum isn't blinded. A linked clean vac/mop run of the my main living areas was a 6 hour affair with the iR bots. They couldn't run at the same time, so the mop had to wait for the vac to finish (or they would get their docks confused), including any breaks it took to charge. Since the Q Revo can do both at the same time, the same run takes about 90 minutes. It has no trouble in rooms with area rugs, easily switching from vacuuming/mopping to just vacuuming once the ultrasonic sensor detects carpet. It can also automatically up the suction to Max+ on carpet for deep cleaning. The large clean/dirty water tanks mean less filling and more mopping. Although the clean water/debris tanks of the robot are smaller than the S7/S8, this only means it will have to return to the dock more frequently to fill up/empty, not a huge deal. Pretty much anything you can think of can be done in the app, which is very well designed and easy to figure out. Do not disturb modes, scheduling, mop washing frequency, duration of drying cycles...All easy to find and adjust. Instead of dragging a dirty mop pad around your house, it will return back to the base to wash and rinse the mop at an interval of your choosing (default is every 15 minutes). You can set room-specific settings as well, for example the majority of my house is set to balanced mode and medium water use, but my guest room is set to max suction and more water, because pets frequently hang out in there. All of this is done automatically once you set it up. Want to clean rooms in a specific order? Set up a routine with multiple tasks in the order you want them done. Vacuum the guest room, vac and mop the kitchen, then mop the zone around the dining table. Easily configured in the app. Pin and Go is a great feature where you can tell the robot to clean a spot just by tapping it on the map. You can also remote control the robot through the app. As far as cleaning performance, there are plenty of YT videos on that with data on grams of crud removed and stickiness mopped up. I'll say it leaves my laminate clean (using just water) and sucks up dog hair and kitty litter just fine. I have no complaints. As far as obstacle avoidance, I haven't really tested it yet. It does successfully see things like desks, large dog bones on the ground and other bigger detritus, but luckily it hasn't had to avoid any droppings. My house is not robot proofed by any stretch. There are dog toys, cat toys, cords, and sandals on the floor at any given time. It hasn't gotten stuck yet. The roller did get jammed once when it sucked up a dryer sheet. I would assume it would only get better with future software updates. There is honestly no comparison to the S9 and M6. Those bots feel like they came from the dollar store compared to the Q Revo. This is the first time in the history of me using robovacs that I truly feel like I'm living in the future. I did a lot of research before buying this, even comparing it to the S7 MaxV and S8 Pro Ultra, and unless you absolutely need the pinnacle of obstacle avoidance, I don't see the S7 having any major benefits, and I'm not sure the S8 has any, either. The robot, dock and app are very well designed. The Q Revo is an absolute steal.

All of my hopeful expectations were exceeded
I did have a robot vacuum prior to this purchase but it didn't come close to the features and performance the Roborock Q Revo delivers. A couple of things I didn't like about the old robot is it didn't mop or have a self-emptying dock. The Q Revo robot was very easy to set up and only took about 10 minutes to get it completely ready. Once fully charged I performed the quick mapping run which made a map of my 2200 square foot house in only 12 minutes. Following a full charge, I turned it loose again. During the cleaning process it returned to the dock 5 times to empty the dirty water mop tank, clean the mop heads, and refill it with clean water. In every case it returned back to exactly the same spot where it left off to resume cleaning. It vacuumed and mopped 1400 square feet of floor area before returning to the dock to recharge. Once charging reached 80% it returned where it left off and finished the job. Once finished it made its final return to the dock where it emptied the dust bin, dirty water container, dried the mop heads and added clean water to the robot. It made a very detailed map of the house showing every track the machine took, divided the house into rooms, and even identified where it mopped and where it vacuumed. It did all this without getting stuck anywhere. Equally impressive is the application. Once you have a map you can add no go zones, invisible walls, identify floor type (hard surface or carpet), split rooms into separate rooms, merge multiple rooms into one and just about anything else you want to do to make the next cleaning more efficient. After you organize the map to your liking you can have the machine mop only, vacuum only, clean certain rooms or spots you identify on the map, and it will only clean those areas. Another thing worth mentioning is that the vacuum part of the machine is just in front of the mop heads, so it vacuums hard surfaces and mops all in one pass. On the very first complete house cleaning the robot was able to identify every hard surface from every carpet area and it never once made a mistake in doing that, so I didn't find it necessary to reidentify surface types for each area on the map. This robot performed effortlessly with no intervention by me. In summary, I had hopeful expectations prior to my purchase and the performance of this robot exceeded all of them. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Need a mopping robot vacuum?
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the roborock Q Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop, and I must say, it has been a game-changer in keeping my floors spotless and tidy. This robot vacuum is an all-in-one cleaning powerhouse, excelling in both vacuuming and mopping tasks. With its remarkable obstacle avoidance capabilities and customizable features, it undoubtedly stands out in the crowded market of smart cleaning devices. Pros: Exceptional Cleaning Performance: The roborock Q Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop truly impressed me with its cleaning abilities. Its powerful vacuum suction efficiently picks up dirt, dust, and debris from various floor surfaces, leaving them noticeably cleaner. The mopping feature is where this robot truly shines - it delivers thorough and streak-free mopping results, making my hardwood floors and tiles gleam. Gentle Obstacle Avoidance: One of the standout features of this robot is its gentle approach to obstacles. Instead of harshly bumping into them, the device gracefully navigates around furniture, walls, and other objects with impressive precision. This not only protects my furniture from potential damage but also prevents any unnecessary disruptions during cleaning. Customizable Settings: The roborock Q Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop offers an array of customizable settings, allowing users to adjust the vacuum's suction power and the amount of water used for mopping. This flexibility is a game-changer, as it allows me to tailor the cleaning process to suit different areas of my home, from carpets to hardwood floors. Efficient Mopping: Unlike some robot mopping vacuums that merely spread dirt around, this model ensures a thorough mopping experience. The mop attachment is designed to cover a substantial surface area, and it maintains consistent pressure for optimal cleaning results. Cons: Docking Issues: My only gripe with the roborock Q Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop is its occasional trouble with docking properly. Although it mostly finds its charging station without any issues, there have been a few instances where I had to guide it manually to dock correctly. While this isn't a major setback, it would be great if the docking process could be more reliable. Overall, the roborock Q Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop is an outstanding cleaning companion that has significantly reduced the burden of daily chores. Its top-notch cleaning performance, gentle obstacle avoidance, and customizable features make it stand out among its competitors. If the docking issue can be addressed in future updates, this robot mopping vacuum would undoubtedly earn a perfect five-star rating. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smarter and more efficient way to keep their floors spick and span.

Won’t change your life, but might change your floor.
I’ve had Rosie (we named our Q Revo after the maid from the Jetsons) for about 4 months now. She’s great, with a few caveats. First the good: -she cleans well. Not as good as a fleshie human with a vacuum and mop, but I’d say about 80-85% as well. And since the humans in the house don’t mop and vacuum very often, the daily average cleanliness of our floors has improved tremendously. -She’s efficient. I have an old Rumba that I still use in one specific room. To clean a room, it uses a strategy that can only be described as “random scurry.” Rosie, on the other hand, cleans the perimeter, then fills in the interior by going line by line, only interrupted by furniture legs, backpacks and such. -maintenance of everything is relatively easy. Even cleaning the base pan—just pop it out and rinse. Done. -the app is very good. I won’t say more because I want you to be just as amazed when you fire it up for the first time and everything just works the way your intuition says it should. Now the caveats: -Compared to her rivals, Rosie is not bright at avoiding things. She’s got a front-firing laser that is supposed to recognize things like shoes strings, power cords, and dog poops. Friends, it doesn’t work. Hopefully this will improve with software upgrades or machine learning or positive reinforcement or something. I don’t know. What I do know is this particular tech is waaaaaaay over exaggerated. -empty the dirty water frequently, as in, at least twice a week. Otherwise, when you pop the tank open to dump out the swill you will be hit with a stench like like Sauron’s gym socks. (I was gentle with this analogy, dear reader. So very gentle.) I’ve found dropping a dishwasher pod into the empty dirty water tank takes some of the gagging out of the experience. -Rosie has a hard time picking up small, hard objects. Like dog food kibble. When this happens it makes a noise like like a penny in the dryer until she either sucks it up into the dust bin or you pause her to get it out. Aside from this she is surprisingly quiet, though not so quiet you won’t notice her. That’s about it. Rosie has her foibles, but nothing that should be a deal breaker for anyone. At regular price the Q Revo is a good value, on sale it’s a steel. Compared to Roborock’s more capable flagships, she’s 80% as good at half the price, so for us, she was a no-brainer.

Business Use, Great with some caveats
I use this robot in my warehouse. The best note about this robot vacuum is that it has significantly reduced the amount of dirt and dust in here. Dramatically reduced. That in itself makes this worth the purchase and I don't regret purchasing it at all. They also have great customer service! Before I purchased it I reached out to Roborok to make sure that it would be fine to use in my warehouse and would work with all the lights off after everyone has left. It vacuums and mops while everyone is gone and is done by the morning when everyone has returned. But it isn't without issues. - Stuck - there was a learning curve in the beginning to getting it to clean the whole night without getting stuck or something stuck in its roller brush. This meant not leaving pallets down on the floor (it tries to squeeze underneath/through the openings), or blocking places it could get stuck in. The "No Go" zones and walls are helpful, but I'll say more on that below. - Map issue #1 - It wouldn't map the whole space. I checked the range for the robot and saw it could mop 4305sqft of area and assumed it would get my whole sub 3ksqft of space, but it would stop about 4/5 of the space and call it the whole area. I tried placing it at the opposite end and had the same issue. - Map issue #2 - once in a while it just loses its map or moves the dock to another location on the map. This is frustrating because it takes some fine tuning to set "No Go" zones and set up different sections. This is all lost if that happens. This could be fixed by software updates I assume. - No Go Zones - sometimes the vacuum will get stuck in a "No Go" zone because it'll find itself in there and then say it can't get out because it's a "No Go" zone. My solution was setting up larger boundaries so it couldn't squeeze into an area near one of these zones. - Cliff detection - We have a slight ramp at our entrance, but the vacuum was getting stuck on the sides of it. I ended up setting thin "No Go" zones over the edges to keep it away, but I was hoping it could figure this out on its own. - Mop - This isn't a deep cleaning mop. It's not gonna scrub. It's good at maintaining cleanliness, but you should get your floors cleaned and then this will maintain that. - Clogging - The vent in the dock that takes the dirt from the vacuum to the dust bag clogs. This seems to only be an issue due to large pieces getting caught in there (there are two 90 degree turns), but it wouldn't know there was an issue and the vacuum would just stop picking up dirt because the bin was full and not emptying. Overall I would def recommend this vacuum/mop, especially if you have ways to mitigate some of its short comings.

A worthwhile upgrade from dockless robot vacuums
Pros: - Solid build quality all around. The robot vacuum itself has a really nice heft to it. - Easy to set up with the included quick start instructions - Accurate LIDAR based room mapping. - Love the convenience of the dock, makes set up and maintenance way easier compared to dockless robot vacuums - Does an excellent job cleaning, and allows you to clean much more consistently as well - Fairly quiet considering the overall performance Cons: - None really Overall: My wife and I have ben incredibly happy with this robot vacuum from Roborock. We were a bit hesitant to invest so much in a robot vacuum but after using it, we're honestly so glad we did. This is well made with a solid feel all around. Set up is quick and easy. The mapping is very quick and accurate as well. Once you have your room mapped out, you can set up no go zones easily. The dual mop and vacuuming functionality works great. This is able to lift the mop when going over carpeted areas, so you won't need to run this twice to get your space both vacuumed and mopped if you have carpets. The dock takes all of the annoying upkeep out of the mopping process since this will self clean and dry as well - you just need to empty the dirty water tank and fill the clean water tank every few weeks depending on how often you use this. Overall my wife and I have been so happy with this. Compared to our dockless vacuum/mop combo, this requires a lot less maintenance and up keep since the dock does most of the work for you. Overall a worthy investment. 100% would recommend.
