Are these comfortable enough to wear for 6-8 hours at a time? I currently have the original PX headphones and they start to hurt my head after an hour

These headphones are definitely designed for comfort. Compared to others, they are very comfortable. However, I've found that a bigger factor is the size of your head. All headphones are built for an average or smaller than average head size, or else they would keep slipping off. If you, like me, have a larger diameter, then they will exert more pressure on us. Can you get 6-8 hours at a time? No one can answer that question for you because everyone is different with different sizes and tolerances. But yes, the headphones are better than most and sound wonderful. Just remember the speakers need about 8-10 hours break in time to loosen up and produce the best music. I really like them and glad I have them. But no, I won't be wearing them for 8 hours at a time.
