Amazing oil paints at a great price!
I have been an artist for more than thirty years and started off studying oil painting. Through the years I moved on to working with pastels and then acrylics. When my mom, who was also an artist working almost exclusively in oils, passed away I inherited her paint box, brushes, old canvases - many of which contained partially finished paintings - and a variety of other supplies. On the 10th anniversary of her passing, I decided I wanted to go back to oils. I looked at the standard brands and then I came upon ZenArt's Infinity Series. Each of the three sets (Essential, Impressionist and Landscape) contains eight colors. I purchased the Essential Palette and Impressionist Palette. These oil paints are reasonably priced, the tubes are large, and I love the colors, so I bought the Essential and Impressionist sets. I have fallen in love with oil painting all over again! ZenART's Infinity series oil palettes contain eight tubes of thick, buttery paint in brilliant colors. Their high color load, which is so important to make the color spread and blend, is especially impressive. My brushes glide through the paint and I'm able to create all of the texture I could want. I highly recommend ZenART's Infinity series of oil paint. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed.

This is good paint!
I’ve been wanting to buy this paint for years! And I’m so happy I finally did! It was buttery smooth, and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. It gives me plenty of time to blend things out the way I want, and has a great dry time. And the best part? It’s cruelty free and vegan friendly! I love that there are no chemicals in this paint, and I loooooove that nothing was harmed in the process of making it. I feel safe using this everyday, and I feel like all artists should give it a try! I started off with the impressionist set, but I’ve already started buying the rest. You won’t regret it, add this to your collection NOW!!!

Happy Artsy Preteen!
I'm honestly the last person you want to read a review from if you're looking for what a real artist thinks, but despite my incredibly limited artistic ability I have been trying to engage more with the preteen through her language, which means spending time doing artsy things together. She is already a fantastic painter, but given her age I am hesitant to go too crazy with different types of paints and pallets because they are so pricey. So when she began asking for some oil paints, I really didn't know what to expect but came across ZenART and thought (hoped) it looked decent for the price. We were not disappointed by these paints! The thing I was most pleased with was the size of the tubes. These are not the little sample size tubes she got from a set from some craft supply store, these are full sized tubes that should last for a few significant pieces. The thing she liked the most was how well the colors worked together. She had a lot of fun trying different amounts to make so many additional colors and shades, and she created a really cool abstract piece with them. (I won't tell you what I created...the colors were pretty, the art I did not so much.) The colors are very vivid and bright and seem to spread very well without having to use too much paint. I have no experience with oil paints to compare these to, but my preteen and I were both very pleased with this set and will be getting other ZenART sets in the future!

Great for beginners
I just started painting and tried very briefly with acrylics but was frustrated with how fast they dried and wanted deeper colors. I picked the essentials pack cause I figured it would be a good starter set. It has all the colors I need to mix whatever color I need. It’s great for beginners. The colors are packed with pigment, seem pretty thick and mix really well. I’m still learning how much certain colors need more or less of it for mixing. If you’re new like me, I suggest using tiny bits and go from there! (If you end up with extra paint when you’re done with a project you can put it in a glass jar and freeze it and it should last quite a while longer.) They mix well with both linseed oil and gamsol. I’ve posted my first 2 1/2 painting I’ve done and my current palette. My only complaint is that I can only find the paints in sets and not individual tubes which makes replacing 1 color hard to do. I had to order more titanium white from another company cause I’ve gone through most of it! Overall, I think it’s great for beginners and would look buy more in the future if I need another set or they start selling individual tubes.

Amazing!!
I have the essentials pallet and the impressionist pallet. I love both of these pallets, the colors are great and they look even better when you paint with them. They are super easy to work with and have amazing results for the price. I was pretty skeptical at first because of the price, but after I tried them I was in shock. The paints tubes are very large and the quality is great. I did notice that the oil paint from the impressionist pallet had more of a smell than the oil paint from the essentials pallet. I would also recommend possibly switching the metal paint tubes in the essentials pallets the plastic? I noticed the sometimes the metal would get small homes in some of the tubes and the oil will come out of it. Besides that the paints are amazing. I use these paints almost everyday and they have lasted me months. I highly recommend this paint to anyone!

Look and feel superior
The quality and the feel of these paints is great. I love the colors. And I love how they are chosen for their appropriatness for use in portraits or as basic mixing staples for mixing to produce a great variety of color. So useful to beginning artists to have the basics.

Good quality
This oil paint seems like good quality, it’s thick and full body texture, I like what I’ve used so far for my artwork. I’m fairly new to playing with oil based mediums compared to water based acrylics so every time is an experiment - learning experience. I laughed at the rating for whether or not “it goes on easy”, new or not to working with oil, I wouldn’t say it goes on easily, as most artists experienced with oil based paints know to be true, it can be difficult to work with, that being said, it does go on smoothly.

Value
I'm a digital artist starting to venture into traditional mediums. I've stuck to acrylics up until now because of their inexpensiveness compared to other mediums. Though I've always found their color to be lacking in chroma and would have to resort to lowering the value range of my artwork in order to create the illusion of vibrancy. I decided to give oil paints a try and quickly became discouraged with how much more expensive they were. I tried looking for a value brand that didn't sacrifice quality for price and I stumbled upon ZenArt. The oil paints were kind of hard to remove from the packaging but it really wasn't a serious issue. ZenArt clearly believes in their product as they offer a 1 year warranty, which to me, for an art product, is insane. I attached a quick portrait I did to test out the paints and I gotta say, oil paints are a real pain to clean haha, but man, I'm really excited with the potential these have. The value range is just larger. Brighter tints and darker shades, deeper hues. ZenArt doesn't leave anything to be desired in terms of quality and I'm excited that I can approximate the chroma and saturation that digital art so easily does.
