I'm a professional hair and makeup artist and had my last chair for only 2.5 years before the fabric seat began to fall apart and the foot rest got bent and kept falling down. It overall felt very flimsy. I looked for one this time around that would be better quality and last- I was impressed with how sturdy this one feels comparatively, the metal is rigid, fabric feels thicker and stronger and I prefer the height to my last one (I'm 5'4 and I like that I can comfortably do hair and makeup on this one rather than having to use a shorter chair for hair) Downsides: The net to hold things in the bottom is totally useless, it kept falling down no matter how strong I tied it. But I don't really need it so I just got rid of it. Mainly I was truly taken aback by just how heavy this chair is. Wow, its a beast to lug around, like 10lbs heavier than my last one! Not ideal if your work is mostly travel like mine is and you have to lug extra weight along with the rest of your makeup kit, but I've accepted my fate of back pain for the sake of quality.

My daughter teased me for spending $50 bucks on this. Then she loved it and asked me to get her one like it. (I have a hard time getting up and down from the regular canvas chairs.) This one is amazing. And has its own table!

I paid more for less with another brand. I had a different brand, and was happy with it, until I bought these as a gift for someone. We opened it and set them up. and I immediately regretted my previous purchase. These were lighter, more sturdy, easier to unfold, and slightly higher. I use them for High School games, where you sit behind a fence, and a standard chair puts your eyes in line with the horizontal bar. These put you well above that, with a nice rest for your feet. They fold up easily, and provide great back support. They aren't light by any stretch, but well worth it for their function.

It’s okay. Just not as tall as expected

I think my expectations were too high based on the reviews. I was looking forward to receiving it and using it for makeup jobs in the studio. This chair is very basic... the folding table feels like it is going to break each time I move it up or down. It's not the most comfortable. There is very little support on the back of the chair, so if you sit back fully, you back will end up leaning back. One of the greatest disappointments is the foot rest. (*see photos) The bars on the chair sit out further than the foot rest does, so your legs end up hitting the bars, and you have to bend your legs in to be able to rest on the foot rest (with your legs pressed into the bars) Super awkward and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I will need to try to re-sell it (losing money) because trying to return would be a great hassle, if at all possible. There was issues for almost two weeks trying to have this product delivered. Not a great experience at all.
