I am very impressed with this product. Want plant-based split pea soup with ham flavor? This product will make soup taste with ham without the animal. Use as directed for measurements. Product is a little pricey. Will provide for two soups.

I like to try and make tasty favorites free of meat and dairy, so when I considered trying to make a knockoff underwood ham salad I knew finding the right seasoning would be key, and this was the right choice. I used finely ground chickpeas and walnuts to make the meat, then added "Just like Ham", veganaise, a half teaspoon of liquid smoke onion powder and black salt to make a truly tasty sandwich filler/dip that always goes fast. I've made this recipe three times now and it never gets old but it is pretty salty, so just one or two tablespoons of this truly great seasoning is plenty. I'm sure it would be amazing on potatoes or sprinkled on salads. Will definately buy again.

Note: I eat meat (including ham) and meat substitutes, so I'm not relying on hazy memories of flavors. I use this with their Plant Protein Strips, and it really tastes like ham. Not like deli ham, though, or the pink part of a roast. It's like the darker outside of a roast ham, or a ham steak that's been seared in a frying pan. Awesome for split pea soup or anything where that little bit of ham essence is vital. I add a little maple syrup to get it closer to the pink ham flavor I'm still searching for.

Just used this product and for veggies it a game changer. I’m not good with seasonings and this help this gal. Gotta check the salt content but no other concerns.

And it discolored the green pea dip to murky brown. Definitely not worth it. Don’t waste your money on it

Good taste. I have Alpha Gal and am allergic to pork. This was great seasoning.
