Great value for the quality
I had another pair of Skullcandy headphones for YEARS and it was finally time for an upgrade, I loved the over the ears, noise cancelling ones I had but I was looking for an earbud pair this time because the others were to hot when working out. I was worried these would not be as good as the full size over the ear ones but they exceeded my expectations at this price. Decent noise cancelling, not completely silent, can still hear what's going on around me so I can be aware of my surroundings, very loud, and most important they don't move or fall out of my ears while using. I also washed these in the washer, case and all and they still worked after sitting them on the air vent overnight and letting them dry out, so I would say they are reasonably durable as well.. the microphone feature works better than others I've had and people can understand me when I am talking on the phone.

I put them through the washing machine 3 times✨
I had these for like 6 months. I'm a forgetful person so I put them through the washing machine. I did it once and was like okay maybe I'll put it in some rice. So I put it in some rice and after like 2 days it worked again just fine. No change to sound quality or anything. Then the second time they went through the wash I left them in the rice for like a week, then they worked again. But then the 3rd time.... Well idk maybe it was the 4th time, hey I can't remember. But anyways, I lost one of the earbuds, so idk. Then the other earbud doesn't seem to be working anymore, but it still lights up and charges.. however I don't think I can get it to go back on. Not to mention I lost the other earbud so uhhh... Time for a new pair. I gotta say they are perfect earbuds if only I could stop forgetting to check my pockets before doing a wash... BUY THEM👍 I'm gonna get a different style pair from skullcandy this time though .. just to switch it up. Idk I had the dime ones at one point, but I'll get a extra different one... And use it till I kill it.

Great sound, but they have a lot of technical issues
I tried twice. The first pair I got sound amazing and the app is fantastic. The ability to create a custom EQ is great. Unfortunately, this pair had a battery life problem... specifically, the right earbud drained extremely quickly. In fact, you could watch it drain. About every 10 seconds the percentage indicating 'charge' would go down by about 5%. Over the course of an hour long walk, the right earbud drained and stopped working in about 35 minutes. I contacted Skullcandy support and they said to return for a replacement. I got the second set and again, they sound amazing. These, however, had a problem as well. In this set, the battery life is fine, but the left earbud's sound cuts out very frequently. Over the course of an hour long walk, the dropout occurred about 40 times (Yes I counted). The drop varied in length from about a half a second to a full 2 seconds. In frustration, I ordered a pair of Anker Soundcore P20i earbuds, which cost $20, and they sound just as good and have neither the battery or the cutout issue. This is a huge bummer... I hate to return things but after 2 tries with Skullcandy I have to assume at least this model of earbuds are not of sufficient quality.

Earbuds are good, case battery capacity isn't great
These fit well and are comfortable, I wear them all day every day at work, I'll only wear one bud at a time and can get through most of a 9 hour shift before having to swap to the other one. But the case will only charge them a couple times before going into the red.

Blown Away
Ive only bought Skullcandy headphones since 2009. I switched to beats about 3 years ago to see what the hype was about. Beats are fantastic, but sadly they no longer hold a good charge after constant heavy use in the gym and at work. I needed a good replacement and these earbuds knock it out of the park. Great sound quality, affordable price, excellent build quality, all day battery life, great call quality. Small and sleek charging case, AND customizable controls as well as a customizable equalizer?! What else can you ask for? Glad i made the decision while it was on sale and bought an additional pair for my Mom for her Birthday!

really great buy
I got this as a gift for someone and they absolutely love it. Says the quality is great, the sound of the music is great and they love how small it is that they can just fit in their pockets no problem. The value was totally worth it. and it was super comfortable for their ears.

Great price and value
Very nice, good sound, and I like the app function options. Fast charging and good battery life. The only thing I didn't like is how sensitive the touch is on the buds. If I do any adjustments in my ear. It reacts too easily. Overall great value and price.

Worse Sound, Less Features, Bigger Price tag: A Complete Downgrade
The Skullcandy Indys have been my daily driver for a few years now but I was excited at the chance to upgrade to a more premium package when I heard that these new Rails had released. When they arrived it didn't take me much time at all to be completely disappointed. The sound is completely tinny and even playing around with the EQ settings in the app I was at best able to get a slightly worse version of the Indy's sound profile. Physically the earbuds are a complete backstep. The ear wings were omitted from the Indys which makes it harder both to keep these firmly in your ears and to fish them out of their case. Just sitting around the house I constantly felt like these things were on the verge of falling out, and I definitely would not feel safe taking these to the gym. The case also has removed the indicator lights showing how many charges are left in the case which was an extremely handy feature to have. The only thing I can say I like about these is that they removed pairing from the touch sensors, definitely one of the biggest headaches I've constantly had to deal with is accidentally putting my buds into pairing mode and having to sit around and reset both buds for a good 2 minutes, and repair them with each other and then my phone. It's an absolute joke for Skullcandy to call proudly call these "our best sounding, best looking, most innovative earbuds ever.". It actually feels like a scam trying to pass off an inferior, significantly more expensive product by just saying it's 2.0 successor. If this is what Skullcandy calls "Future proof" then it's time to consider a future with another brand.

Earbuds don't connect
my first pair did kept disconnecting and eventually the right ear bud stopped connecting altogether. Returned them and requested a new one, and the left earbud wont switch on for pairing at all. The feel of the earbuds are comfortable, but with them not connecting it defeats the purpose.

Buen producto

ADHD, big city, busy transit -- these are lifesavers!
(Disclaimer: I am not a die-hard audiophile and wouldn't know the difference between Bose and Beats if my life depended on it. I do, however, listen to several hours of audiobooks and more of music every day, and you'd be pretty amazed at what a full-cast audiobook sounds like these days! But for a total audio numpty, and having researched way too long before deciding on these, they've been absolutely amazing.) These are my #1 go-to earbuds when out and about, and they work fabulously without blowing out your eardrums/making people around you hate you, even on the busiest (and by far loudest, yikes) subway in the country. Since I live a 45min subway trip in to work every day, these buds get a lot of use. Honestly, they must count as some kind of ear protection considering how loud the screeching of the metal wheels on rails are. How loud the city is, in general. I live right on Bloor St, which only goes quiet around never o'clock, and there is always heavy construction happening either my home or where I work (or both). We all need our little bit of personal space, and when we're nuts-to-butts on the streetcar that can be more than a little difficult. As someone with ADHD, I find these have made SUCH a difference in my daily life! I used to read on the subway (or bus or train or just in a park), but all of the one-sided phonecalls and all the different languages would grab at my attention. I love this city and the sheer magnitude of diversity here -- it's why I live here! But this city is distracting af. I switched to audiobooks several years ago, and those along with wireless earbuds have changed my life. I've owned two previous models of Skullcandy wireless earbuds (and plenty of wired) as well as a set of their noise-canceling headphones and I've always been really pleased with the quality for the price. These ones specifically are without question my favourites for in-ear and not at home. I used wired earbuds for a long time before making the jump to wireless, because my worst nightmare was losing one of them. ADHD again with a helping of anxiety -- if it's not where I can see it, it doesn't exist/it is lost forever and I need to find it RIGHT NOW. This is a person who has lost three different TV remotes in a one-bdrm apartment. It's caused me a LOT of frustration and taken up way too much of my mental capacity. I've been using Tile for more than 8 years to at least keep things like my keys/wallet/phone/camera in check and easy to find (and I use it all the dang time, all of these will fall off whatever I put it down on for "just a second" and then I'm finding them 5min later at the bottom of a laundry basket/under the bed/in the outer pocket of a coat that is now hanging up somewhere). Before, finding things could take ages and include a LOT of stress, especially if it's something vital. Now, it takes the push of a button (or asking Alexa to find it). I thought the Tile Dots were small (there is one on my remote -- this one has lasted!), but I had no idea they'd be so tiny each earbud could have its own! I've only had to use it a couple of times when first using them, but it was an immediate lifesaver. The peace of mind of just not having to allocate a percentage of it to "what if I lose one" is huge. I've been using this specific pair for over 2 years now and still have zero issues with pairing, battery life, or holding a charge. I've also dropped both the case and the individual buds on hard surfaces (or sub-optimal ones like the TTC floor) and while I definitely don't recommend doing so on purpose -- well. They're pretty hardy for a little device that spends most of its day in my pocket. I actually use all the modes, as well -- sometimes I want to be aware of cars attempting to drive over me if I do something so foolish as cross at a crosswalk with the lights. In broad daylight. I do find the awareness mode is great for parks or the PATH (underground), it drops the constant sounds of a few million other people living their lives in the city waaaay down. I can leave my windows open on one of the busiest streets in the city with these on Awareness mode, but still hear my cats/children that have been foisted upon their "Cool Uncle Who Lives In The City" or anything else that registers in those levels. It does well for nearby vehicles when I'm out running in the evenings, too, just on the sidewalk. It won't let you understand the TTC operator announcements, but to be fair, you wouldn't be able to in any case -- even people who spoke perfectly well into microphones the day before will, after being hired by the TTC, be reduced to incomprehensible and barely audible gargling from then on. In too many words? Love these. Been worth the purchase many, many times over. I would 100% recommend.
