Great for the money, excellent weight to learn no spin throwing, tips can bend a bit , no big deal they are very sharp and that is easy to fix with a file. For a month of throwing fix tips only once and only two. Happy with all set, planning to buy another one and keep sticking them. Thank you

The knives throw real well for no spin. The weight is real good I like the 7mm over the 6mm. Very happy with them

I have been throwing these for about a 3 weeks now and they are holding up to: misses into concrete floors, bounce-backs into metal furnishings, and etc. I have yet to really sharpen these but I have touched up one or two deformations in the tip. The metal used in these throwers very strong and resilient. Absolutely no complaints with the balance and design. The pommel is purposely shaped like a helmet to deflect any other knife away from it to avoid just hammering it with another throw. Very well-thought-out. Overall, a durable, pro grade, inexpensive set of throwing spikes. The Thunder!

These are fantastic. I have tried most of the Amazon spikes and these are my favorite for sure. Better than the hit Dudu beaks simply because of the steel. Grant it’s carbon so you need to keep it dry and oiled but they are durable, haven’t snapped like some of the other JXO’s I’ve used, and most importantly aren’t developing burrs very quickly when they strike rocks or other knives. I’ve had nasty splinters from stainless steel knives due to that and haven’t with these. Plus the shape is dope.

Very well made at an amazing price! Very durable. Lighter version are perfect for beginners. Heavier which I’m throwing in the video are great for advanced. Hold up very well.

I've only been throwing knives for about 9 months and I started off using JXE JXO 9.4" Throwing Spikes, which are fantastic for all kinds of throws - military half-spin, sidearm, no-spin and hammer. The only one I don't quite have down with them is the full spin. Enter the JXE JXO Thunder Spike, which is 10.2" of well-balanced hefty awesomeness. I picked up the 6-pack on Amazon Prime Day earlier this week for a great price and just spent about 2 hours putting them through their paces. The only "complaint" I have - which isn't really a complaint - is that even a moderate force throw will sink the tip 1.5" into an end-grain target due to the weight. If you're using no-spin or military half-spin, you have to try REALLY hard to have a bad throw. My only regret is that I didn't get two 6-packs while they were on sale, but I'll be watching for another deal. If you want an easy-to-throw knife that's got some bite, look no further!

I'm a new thrower, just shy of a week since I started, the thunder arrived to day and I absolutely love these. I've been learning no spin and today I was practicing half spin, this set has sharp points and flew beautiful and bit in deep with both types of throws. So far after about a 100 throws with some rebounds onto concrete they have held up great, I had one that took the slightest bend at the tip (the tips are well made) but that was easily taken care of on the spot and no hint of it since. Definitely recommend
